Jungle Madness Friday with Lemons
I’ve decided I want a new scent. A “theme” scent. A scent that represents my new outlook on life…sunny & positive. It’s nearly summer here in Florida. Okay, summer’s officially five weeks away, but it’s already feeling like summer and I’m turning over a new leaf.
My new theme scent? Lemon, baby.
It’s fresh and crisp and citrusy. It’s got the whole, “lemons into lemonade” thing going on. Florida just screams lemons and you all know how much I adore the lemon tree in my backyard (which doesn’t bear fruit until winter time…weird.) I’ve been buying lots of lemon scented lotions and candles and body washes and I’m in lemon love.
So I want to share my new obsession and sunny disposition by offering up a travel collection of LemonMade products from Bath & Bodyworks!

Oh, what a terrific prize…a sunny scent and a wonderful book from the Temptation line (used to be my favorite from Harlequin). Still miss that line, but am enjoying other stories of theirs now.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone. I’m chaperoning three 13 year olds to an all day concert on Sunday - might have to take Monday off to recuperate. This will either bring out my inner child or make me feel everyone one of my 47 years. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Hey Jules, count me in….as soon as I saw the title I thought of What’s Your Pleasure…that was the first book I ever read by you, which led me to the jungle…I believe Slow-burn Colburn played a big role in the developing Devon’s inner bad girl when she gave her a gift basic of lemon scented oils…Jake reaped the rewards of that one…
I made it safely to Vegas last night…was tired though…sorry I missed yesterdayy’s blog, but was on a plane for a longer time than I wanted to be…I will be able to check in every now and then while I am in Vegas…I hope that everyone has a wonderful day…c u later…

Ah ha! When my friends down near Tampa moved into their new house, they planted a lemon tree and a lime tree. The lime tree has fruit, the lemon doesn’t. I’ll tell them to watch for lemons this winter (if you can call it “winter” in Florida

I love the smell of lemons. I have the Whole Lotta Lemon collection from Bath and Body Works and it just smells wonderful. I never would have thought that I would like lemon in a body wash but, boy was I wrong. Have a great weekend everyone!

Julie have you tried, Hello Sugar, from B&BW? That is a lemony smell too.. Its in a special bottle, 3-in-1, bubble bath, shower gel, and shampoo mix. Smells awesome. Check it out.

The pictures of the lemons evoked a scent memory. The picture looked so fresh and…well…lemony!
Do you go to any FL groves? My aunt loves to take people to the one down the block from her house. I think one of the best things about the tour is the smell.

Scenes with lemons? I am trying to wrap my imagination around that one.
Lemon juice has alot of practical uses-look in some of the old time cookbooks and almanacs. I remember my mother saying they used lemon juice to lighten their hair. and it cleans jewelry nicely but remember to wash it off.

wow what a great prize. i havent been to bath and body for a while so i hadnt seen the lemon, i am going to have to go look.. i love the smell ..it so clean and fresh.. one of my favorite memorys growing up was going to the county fair with my parents, and the lemonade booth where they made it while you watched fresh.. what a treat.. hmm now i am so thirsty for that..lol..

I love lemons and lemonade! My sister has some great lemon (lime, orange, tangerine and grapefruit also) trees in Deland and had a bumper crop this year.

I also live in Florida. When we walk at night now, we can smell jasmine, orange blossom and some spicy scent, we never pass any lemon trees though. Great idea for a tangy fresh scent!

Frozen lemonade mmmmm had some at Disney few weeks back. It is feeling like summer here in Florida I was at a fund raiser for Relay for life today and got burnt. A hot scene with lemons that I would like to reed.
