Leslie’s Disney Madness Friday!

Leslie Icon

I’m in Florida right now and at some point during this next week, I’ve promised the girls that we’ll do a Disney day. (Probably MGM because it’s their favorite.)

Anyway, I thought I’d do a little gift-by-request. Just leave a comment with your name and the name of your favorite Disney character–hero, heroine, princess, prince, villain, whatever. I’ll do my VERY best to pick up a little something with that character on it, and send it off to you, along with a book of your choice from my backlist.

Sound good?

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

  1. My favorite Disney character has got to be Ariel, especially since I’ve got a redheaded “mermaid” myself! Really, there’s just something so sweet about her and innocent, the way she sees life and the o around her. What’s not to love about her?

    Comment by Margay — May 2, 2008 @ 6:15 am

  2. Wow that’s very cool. Hmmm, let me think. Either Ariel or Belle are my favorites.

  22. Donald Duck.

    Comment by Minna — May 2, 2008 @ 10:13 am

  23. Karen B - MICKEY is KING, LOL No Mickey is the POPE. Not offending anyone with this story. I took my kids to Disney years ago. All I could think about was that commercial with that adorable little boy = “I want to meet the mouse.” over and over. And Mickey comes up to him in the Park. So imagine my surprise when I told someone in Disney, “I want to meet the mouse” and they said, “You have to go to the Judges house. Mickey is there.” OK. We hike across the park to the Judge’s house. Where the line in 100 degree weather is around and around and around and around. An hour and a half to meet the mouse. Who is HEAVILY GUARDED by people monitoring how many people can go into the room with Mickey at one time. I’m appalled. They were counting numbers of people and I’m like, no, you can’t split up my family I need a picture of EVERYONE WITH THE MOUSE. So they let the first group of strangers go, then us. Call me silly, but discovering that meeting Mickey is almost as hard as meeting The Pope really disappointed me. I thought he should be a walk around the park and mingle with the common people kind of mouse!

  112. Hi, my favourite Disney character is Eeyore. What a wonderful remembrance winning an Eeyore would be. Saturday, May 3rd is our 33rd wedding anniversary, my husband and I drove from Toronto, Ontario Canada to Walt Disney World for our honeymoon. Hope you have a great time in Florida.
