Saturday Guest blogger…eHarlequin!
Actually, today’s guest blogger is a link to eHarlequin.
If you’re interested in writing for Harlequin Blaze…a line all four of the Plotmonkeys have written for…you should go listen to this podcast with Brenda Chin and Kathryn Lye. It’s chock full of fabulous information about the line, about the editors, what they’re looking for…what they’re NOT looking for, etc.
Then come back and let me know what you think.
Here’s a trivia question for you…which book of mine does Brenda reference without actually saying the title? (Or my name, LOLOL!)
I warn you…this is a VERY hard question!

Wow!!! What an incredible source of information. It never would have occurred to me they had a podcast! I’ve gotten sidetracked with a few novellas, but that got me excited to get the story I had originally written to send to Blaze back out, revised and submitted.
As for your story…That is hard and I’m taking a WAG (Wild A$$ Guess)…Double the Pleasure?
Thanks again for another great Sat. chock full of information!! Hope it’s a great day for everyone!!

Good Morning Lovelies
I actually listened to this podcast the other day but I listened to it again. Julie, as far as a reference to one of your books–Could it be the story about the Scottish Laird who kidnaps the hero? She also mentioned something about gypsies in the beginning which I’m not sure means anything.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day,
Cher

She mentioned one of mine without saying my name or the title, too!

Jules, I loved the podcast…I took notes as I was listening…maybe I will entertain the idea of actually writing one of these romance novels that I love so much…big MAYBE there…now the scottish laird kidnapping heroine and keeping her in his castle made me think of PP…I know it is a little different, but that is what immediately came to mind…I am not sure, just might have to go back and read some of the others to make sure…I will have to listen to it again, to see if I can catch Leslie’s book…btw, Brenda Chin sounds like an awesome person…hope everyone has a wonderful day…will check in again later…ttyl
Peace and love,
Paula R.

No, not the Scottish laird…that’s Hope Tarr’s upcoming book, I believe.
Hmm…gypsies…
Ooh, Leslie, let’s make it a double contest!

Leslie’s book was One Wild Wedding Night, and was described as the 5 in 1 book. I think Julie’s book was Undeniable.

Liza wins! Liza, email me with your snail mail addy and you’ll receive a mystery prize! Julie at Julieleto.com.
I think the interview was fabulous. Anyone who is interested in Blaze should listen. The advice and the conversation is just so spot-on. Sometimes, editors just read from notecards and while they give the information, it’s not the same as hearing them TALK about it…and the added benefit of hearing from Randall Toye, who has always been so supportive of the line.
