I recently went through the same thing. Now I make a weekly date with myself and I never miss it! I'm now happier, more patient, and much more active. I've recently been feeling similar things and have also started to get my life back on track. I've been eating healthier, and exercising...even lost 12lbs! Although its not about losing weight as much as getting healthy. I've been focusing more on me and I'll be honest in the beginning it felt a little wierd...but its been about two months now and I've gotten over the guilt and have been really enjoying the me time.
