What a great prize! I want to win because there are so many great books that have come out or are coming out (which include of course all of the plot monekys books) and if I won this would help out on getting them.

Still if I don’t win, I will still get all of the plot monekys books as there can only be one word to describe them

Oh, I gift certificates. One of the most best presents ever. I woudn’t be here if I didn’t love the Plotmonkey books, so you can be sure they’re already on my list. But also I’m saving for the entire Buffy the Vampire Slayer series, so I might put it towards that.

ooh what an awesome prize that would be.. why? well weve just had so many unexpected expenses that my book buying has been cut a bit short. Ive been doing so much reading that i had been having headaches, so went and had an eye exam and my prescription had changed, sooo that was a total of 360 dollars by the time i left with new glasses.. hubbys transmission dropped out of his truck… $2200 bucks..
ive been nursing my refrigerator along for a couple weeks now.. last week stuff was warm and the icecream melted.. and this week so cold even the milk was frozen… sooo yep ive been pricing refrigerators.. boy have they gotten expensive since i bought my last one 15 years ago…so much for our tax return… and like everyone else.. the high cost of fuel and heating LP is outrageous this year… :cold:
bad luck has just been hanging on with us the last month or so…

Hmmm, I have two reasons. First is I love to read. That’s a given, I think, for everyone that posts on this blog! Second is that I’ve always allowed myself a fairly extravagant book allowance. But, in a couple of weeks (hopefully!) I will be closing on my first house!!!!! I’ve thought of all the ways I can cut back, and unfortunately, my book allowance is at the top of the list. That’s ok, though, because I’m blessed that with some small sacrifices, I can finally have my own home. I’m so excited!! I can’t wait to plant flowers, mow my own (tiny) lawn, etc.

Happy Friday everyone. OK - here’s why I really, really want to win this gift certificate. I am so low on funds this month, it’s not even funny. I finally found a job, but I don’t start until mid-March. Unemployment ended last month. I’m having a heck of a time getting my taxes filed b/c of a jerk of a soon-to-be ex-husband. :cursing: On top of that, there are sooooo many new books that have come out/are coming out and I can’t afford them Pick me! I love Amazon GCs. I use any that I win or get by doing surveys to buy toys during their spring toy sale for Toys for Tots. Last year I got over $300 worth - 75% off - for $21 + GCs. And - thankfully - none were on the recall list!

Reading has helped in passing the time during this long, long cold and snowy winter. I am almost at the end of the pile of books that I had stockpiled for the winter, so the gift certificate will make sure that I have more books to read until spring. I would love the gift certificate because in a couple of weeks I will be home on maternity leave. I love reading and what a better way to get books that with a gift certificate. Books are just so relaxing. :angel7:

I should buy stock at Borders with all the books I buy.The first section I go to is my romance one looking for all of your books that are out,getting disappointed when I dont get the newest one .Reading keeps me sane with being a nurse and health issues so this gift certificate would be most wanted and appreciated.Keep up with all the great writings and I’ll keep up with all the buying ! lol

I Love Good Sexy books that give me a thrill of maybe having one, and want to write like the author’s. Here on this page, I love romance and I cannot stop reading Carly Phillips books I love her series and I love Contests. I never even won a contest before. If I won something like this, I would like to deserve this chance to win something. What a wonderful prize being offered. I would love to win - so many great books coming out in March and it being my birthday month (March 29 to be exact) I will have to treat myself. Right now I am in the middle of taking 2 classes to help me pass the GRE - classes end the night before my birthday so I will definately be celebrating by reading all day for pleasure instead of for classes. So many yummy books coming out by so many authors - and so little time! LOL to ME!

I have a great reason for wanting the gift certificate lol. A ton of my favorite authors just released books: Kim Harrison’s The Outlaw Demon Wails, Jennifer Rardin’s Biting the Bullet, Joanne Fluke’s Carrot Cake Murder, and Mary Kay Andrew’s Deep Dish. I can’t wait!!!

OH.. Amazon.com gift certificate? Does it help that I have a 10 page wishlist on Amazon.com. I can’t keep track of all the great books that I keep finding to purchase so I use Amazon’s wishlist as my running I really want list. Tis sad but books are my soft spot.
