Carly’s Day Off
Well, Carly has deserted us for the warm climate of Aruba for her yearly vacation with her family. Lucky her! She asked that we fill in for her today, and because I couldn’t come up with anything exciting to blog about, I thought I’d present to all of you a question, of which you need to figure out the answer. You’ve might or might not have seen this before, but I thought it would be a fun “filler” for the day. So, here we go . . .
This “thing” has the range of 8 inches long, the functioning of which is enjoyed by members of both sexes. It’s usually found hung, dangling, ready for instant action. It boasts a clump of little hairy things at one end and a small hole at the other. In use, it is inserted, almost always willingly, sometimes slowly, sometimes quickly, into a warm, fleshy, moist opening where it is thrust in and drawn out again and again, many times in succession, often quickly and accompanied by squirming bodily movements. Anyone found listening in will most surely recognize the rhythmic, pulsing sound, resulting from the well lubricated movements. When finally withdrawn, it leaves behind a juicy, frothy, white sticky substance, some of which will need cleaning from the outer surfaces of the opening and from some of its long glistening shaft.
After everything is done and the flowing and cleansing liquids have ceased emanating, it is returned to its freely hanging state of rest, ready yet for another bit of action, hopefully reaching its bristling climax twice or three times a day, but often much less.

Okay, I’ll be honest, of course I thought it sounded oddly like something else except for 1 thing: the 2-3 a day part. That threw me all the way around.
I couldn’t think of anything that I’d be willing to use and then clean 2-3X a day, but I guess I was wrong!

I knew what it wasn’t, but since my toothbrush runs on batteries……

Toothbrush never crossed my mind. LOL Of course, the 2-3 times a day ruined my original guess. LOL

Okay, my mind is definitely in the gutter.
But the 2 or 3 times a day was the tip off that it wasn’t what I thought.

I knew what it wasn’t….today is the last day of the four day weekend, but I am going to have at least one boy home tomorrow sick. I am not feeling good, either…

I totally didn’t get toothbrush. Hope everyone has a great Monday. I’m home with what I think in pink eye again. At least I already have drops and a doctor’s appointment for tomorrow.

Haha, I have to admit, I *knew* it wouldn’t be something sexual. I think I may have seen this joke before- but a much tamer and less graphic version. :mrgreen: too fun!

The “hairy little things” made me think toothbrush.
What a great riddle. I love doing riddles with my class but… somehow, I think I’d get fired if I brought this one in!

I had zero idea what it could have been! All I could think of was a turkey baster…but no hairs and not 2-3 times a day. lol.
I feel for those of you that are sick. 4 out of 6 in my house are sick as well! I hope you feel better soon!!!

Even though I didn’t feel great, I am a superhero to my three year old (my five year old, too, but don’t tell anyone!)….I got tickets to the Wiggles and Sesame Street.
I know my five year old is a little old for them, but he wanted to go and ‘help’ me out with my three year old….

Carly, I hope you all enjoy the fun and the sun in Aruba…soak up enough sun for us….and when you come back, bottle some of it for us too…
Hey everybody…I have been MIA, I know…the end of the winter term is fast approaching and I have to write comments, exams, etc…so I won’t be as much….March is a different story though, because I will be on Winter break, for practically the entire month…so get ready for my witty remarks and sage advice…

I did think about it being a toothbrush! However I also thought of something more risque!!
I have missed being here, my computer has been down. So glad to have it back. Not having a computer made me realize how much time I spend on it!!! :giggle: I actually did a couple of small overdue chores while it was down!! I’ll have to catch up on what I missed.
I hope Carly is having a lovely, relaxing vacation in Aruba. Lucky Carly being in the sunshine, on the beach.
