On the Homestretch…
During one brief break from writing, I found this video on Gena Showalter’s blog. I laughed until tears were running down my face. Maybe it’s only funny to authors, but I about died. And since Gena and Jill Monroe have both guest blogged here at Plotmonkeys, I thought I’d share. Plus, it promos Gena’s work!
Enjoy! And keep watching that side bar…I’m getting closer…
And as an extra goodie…I love this on so many levels…thanks to the website The Good, the Bad and the Unread for this lovely diversion…

I recently saw the Jill/Gena trailer - those girls are too funny. 2 years ago I ended up sitting next to Jill on the plane ride to Atlanta for RWA. Her and Gena are sweethearts…and totally obsessed with gnomes. Now I have to check out the other video.
-1 degree! :cold:

Good morning jungle friends and
,
I hope that all is well…
Jules, I did notice that your counter is coming up very quickly…
Loved both videos…the first one was extremely funny…Gena and Jill are too cute…
I loved the second one the best though…Sharon Stone is awesome and I guess the “myth” is true about Scots and kilts huh? or is it Irish and kilts? Can’t remember…what was the name of the actor that was in the second video with Sharon Stone? The kilt wearer was tres cute too…
Now, go back to writing…
Peace and love,
Paula R.

LOL :-)))) That is soooo funny!! I about fell out of my chair! Savor me Slowwwwwwly. Too much. And she should practice saying it at home! :-)) And “hay” hair :-))) And that crack about her name being Jina–pronounced with a long I–Oh God, I thought I was going to bust a gut.
Okay, I’ll stop now
The kilt one is funny too. Thanks for the laugh on a very cold Wednesday morning.
Hope all the Plotmonkeys are doing well. Carly, hope you’re cured. Julie, you are almost done with your book. GREAT!

I saw the Gena one this weekend and loved it. They both did a great job. It cracked me up how she did her hair, sort of up, but she did change and I think actually put on a dress. I saw one time where she said she wears sweats so often that when she put on jeans her family asked why she was dressed up.
Good luck to everyone fighting the cold and snow.

Paula, I’m not sure what they say about Scots, Irish or kilts, but I could definitely go with the kilt guy!!! Dayum!!!

FYI-I did spell Gena’s name “Jina” on purpose–in case you’re wondering.

Haven’t checked out the trailers yet. I’m in a hurry, but I most certainly will.
I think you get my train of thought

Great progress, Julie. 93% percent, wow. That’s almost 100% meaning it’s almost done meaning we’re almost able to read it. Yeah
As for the weather: It’s terrible. Cold AND windy AND foggy AND cloudy. I think tha sums it about up. And on top of all this I think I’ve caught a cold. My head starting to hurt and I feel bad.
If I can’t enjoy the day, I hope you’ll. And Julie, keep writing. You’re almost done.
See you

Peeking in to say, “hi’…internet has been down all week. We just got ‘high speed’ and my oldest messed it up (don’t ask, he is a computer geek, but he loves pushing buttons, even if he doesn’t know what it is for).

Now that I am finally home….
At least he is wearing it the way God intended them to be worn. I saw a US Marine one time at the Scottish Games who wore his that way. I thought my mother was going to fall off her chair when we got a glimpse up the kilt while he was on the bench.
I bought her a T-shirt that says “up yer kilt”
