I’m On My Way Home…
Very productive week. I’m on a plane with Carly right now…yes, I have to fly to New York in order to get home to Tampa. It’s a long story, but needless to say, if I had to fly crosscountry to a totally out of the way place in order to get home FASTER, I’m glad I’m with my buddy!
This picture, sent to me by my niece, totally cracked me up.
How you know if a Catholic is driving too fast…

:cold:
Welcome back home everyone. Julie, I’d love to be in Tampa right now - we’re expecting a high of 5, FIVE, degrees on Saturday - ack! I’m getting frostbite just thinking about it.
Can’t wait to hear more about you plotting monkeys, and the fun that was had.

Welcome Home!!
Stacy- with the windchill right now we are at 10. 20 without it. I say we all head to Tampa and go visit Julie.
Thankfully I got my automatic started fixed on the truck the other day.

Traveling with friends is always more fun! Glad you all had a fun and productive time. And being in Tampa would beat being at work …

Have a safe flight, and glad to hear that at least some work got done while being away. I’m sure it was difficult to work, when you all probably just wanted to hang out and bullshit the whole time.
Stacy, I know how you feel about the weather, it’s supposed to be a high of 12 here on Sunday. BRRRRRRR, wish I were still on the cruise ship in the Caribbean.
Have a good day all and stay safe!!!!!

:cold: :cold:Kathy: I know what you mean…holy cow, it’s not 5 degrees here, but it sure feels like it. Everytime one of my boys opens a door, I freeze to death.

So that’s what a catholic looks like driving fast.
I am glad to know.
I hope everyone of the plotmonkeys
: make it back safe and sound to their homes.
Glad to hear y’all had such a good time.

Glad you guys had a fun trip, but Julie if I had to choose a travel buddy I’m not sure Carly would be my first pick…she doesn’t have a great track record after all…lol
Carly
Wish you both a safe trip home!

I’m glad you all had a great time and plotted a lot of books. Hope you’ll arrive safely and quickly. I’m sure your family is glad your back home. I think there’ll be some chaos awaiting you.
You all are so right: It’s freezing. There’s nothing I hate more than this kind of weather. It’s so wet and cold even if it isn’t cold enough to snow today. Wish it were warmer. And I’m looking forward to spring and summer.
Love the picture. That’s when angels fly…LOL
Take care on your trip home and stay safe
See you

Traveling with Carly may be an adventure according to past incidents we have heard here in the jungle! Hopefully you will both have an uneventful, safe trip. I’m looking forward to hearing more about your fun, working Plotting trip. Does this mean Leslie had to travel alone? Poor baby!!

We have sunshine here but it is not warm! This afternoon it may reach the high 50’s so I know that is not cold but the night was down in the low 30’s, brrr! :cold: I keep telling myself to remember this next summer when it is to warm!

Leslie’s flight took off 26 minutes ago. I’m tracking it online as we speak. I can hardly type this because my hands are shaking so badly from WITHDRAWL. This is my brain
This is my brain without Leslie
I need my Leslie back!
Four Hours.

Hey Jules and fellow jungle buddies…I am glad that you guys had such a productive time in Cali…also glad you get to fly with your buddy on this leg of your journey…there is nothing like traveling alone to a “strange” airport with no one to talk to and while away the time…I can’t wait to jump into some of the books you guys have coming out this year…I hope that the rest of your trip was uneventful…i.e. nothing bad happened…talk to you soon…
BTW, the press release for my poetry book went out yesterday…I am still in “shock,” for lack of a better word at how quickly the process is moving from publication to promotion…what was your experience like when you published your first book? Others can chime in too…
Peace and love,
Paula R.
