Julie’s Jungle Madness Friday!

Julie Icon

No…I’m still not done shopping…but I’m *this close* I’ll report back later if and when I’m finished!

In the meantime, my feet hurt and I’m all stressed out over this marathon of holiday shopping, so if anyone were to get me a gift, this is what I would want:

I lurve Bath and Body Works. The first item is for your tootsies…a foot balm and soothing socks. The second is a collection of stress relief, mint-infused products including a body wash, a body lotion and a pillow mist.

And because I’d want them, that’s what I’m offering for this week’s prize.

Post in the comments…US residents only…come back Sunday to see who the winner is!

  5. Good morning jungle friends and

Jules, once again you offer a wonderful prize on Friday. Don’t count me in for it though, I am sure there is someone more worthy than I am…I hope that you get all your shopping done as well as find some time to rest before you have to go crazy planning your daughter’s bday party…

    Talk to you all later…

    Peace and love,

  6. Just wondering if the following Post from late Oct. no longer applies or maybe just in this case?

    http://www.plotmonkeys.com/611/janelles-friday-jungle-madness-contest-2/
I have a few announcements to make before I get to the main prize for our weekly Jungle Madness Contest. The Plotmonkeys don’t like to exclude anyone who lives outside of the U.S. when it comes to our contests, and we’ve come up with a solution that will hopefully work for those who live in other countries. If we should pick a name of someone who lives outside of the U.S., instead of the prize that is listed for that week, the winner will instead receive a $20.00 online gift certificate to either barnes&noble.com or amazon.com. We’ve had to snail mail a few prizes outside of the United States, and the postage ends up costing us a small fortune and at times more than the prize itself! So, this is our way of making sure all our visitors can enter our weekly contests, no matter where they live!

  10. :cold: I should probably decline since I’m done shopping and my feet don’t hurt. Is it wrong of me to covet such a lovely gift? Well I will anyway. I think it’s the perfect thing, and I love B&BW too.

    Have a great weekend everyone!

    Comment by Stacy ~ — December 21, 2007 @ 8:54 am

  11. Sue, we’re trying to do the gift certificate thing, but we’re running into a problem. According to what we’re finding out, the out-of-country winner has to have a US credit card in order to use the Amazon gift card! I’m not sure why. I’ve been in contact with Amazon US and Amazon UK to try and get gifts out, but it’s not working out like we planned.

I still have a gift to get out by sending ebooks, but it’s complicated and I haven’t had a chance to figure it out. It’s in my INBOX.

So…that’s the state of the situation. We’re still looking into solutions.

But yes, if the winner is from out of the country and can handle the Amazon gift card, then they can still get that.

  42. Dear Julie,
Don’t count me in. I just wanted to wish you all a great weekend. Relax a little bit even if you aren’t done shopping. I’m still crossing my fingers for all those who have to buy things. I’m feeling with you. But the good news: You still have almost 2 days (3 days for those where shops sell on Sundays. You’re better off then). Okay, I admit it: still having to buy things on Monday would be actually a little bit late. But who knows? Maybe there are some REAL last minute shoppers here. But that wouldn’t be something for me. I think I don’t have the nerves for that.
When I was looking through some shops ( I’m actually done but I still have the feeling that something important is missing ) I saw so many people running around carrying bags full with wrapped presents. And they looked utterly stressed. And I thought Christmas were all about PIECE and QUIET?
I’ll start wrapping things up now. Good luck to you. For me it’s always some kind of battle with the wrapping paper :
    :wreath:

Have a good day. Enjoy and stay safe. xmastree:
