Can I just borrow their nutritionists, stylists and housekeepers? Okay, maybe just their masseuse. For the moment, I like my hair. The other stuff would really make me feel pretty! :-)

I would say Reba McIntyre. She is the most down to earth person I know of and I think would make a heck of a friend.

Merry Christmas everyone!!! :xmastree:

All the :present1:"s are wrapped (all 3 million of them), the food is mostly prepped, the annual holiday plumbing disaster has been fixed by hubby and I am on my way to celebrating here at home. :tinitime:

Any one on the road, be careful!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL THE PLOTMONKEYS,
Thanks for keeping each & everyday interesting.

:snowmanhead: I can't think of a single actress I can relate to! One actor I admire a great deal is Denzel Washington. He seems so real, not star struck.

Over the weekend I read Sealed With A Kiss. Carly, thanks for Molly & Hunter's story and their journey to HEA. Enjoy your vacation.

:xmastree: :present1: :santahat: :wreath:

To Everyone here at the Jungle, MERRY CHRISTMAS! :elf: :candycane:
Take care,
Donna M

Happy Christmas Eve Everyone! Good morning Plotmonkeys! Carly, glad to hear you made it safe and sound to Florida.

Okay in regard to relating to celebrities...the ones who come to mind first are ((((((((drum roll))))))))THE PLOTMONKEYS!!! :whipbanana:

Otherwise, celebrities out in Hollywood otherwise known as Fantasy Land I can't relate to at all because their lives are so unreal and "out there".

Except one.

This girl played a small part on Dallas back in the eighties then she was a regular cast member on Walker, Texas Ranger. Her name is Sheree J. Wilson and she played Alex Cahill on Walker. I don't know what it is about her in particular but she just seems so real and down to earth to me. Maybe its her warm smile, I don't know. She just feels like someone who would be my friend.

Hope everyone is having a great day. Take care all and MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Hey guys...okay, I can't relate to any one famous. I love Emily Proctor when she was on West Wing (I am not a republican, but I loved her silliquies (okay, I can't spell that). I still think she should have ended up with Josh (yes, I am living in the past!). I probably can relate more to the Jane Kazmarski (Okay, I totally butchered her name....). Both of them seem so down to earth, plus the have an awesome charity (clothesoff ofourbacks) that gives money to autism research back when it wasn't 'popular'. :xmastree: :wreath: :stocking: :snowmanhead: :cold: :santawhat: :santawhat: :santahat: :menorah: :cold:

Hope you're having a great time on vacation!

I've never really thought about this before but Sandra Bullock was the one that came to mind. I love the Miss Congeniality movies and the conflicted daughter in Ya-Ya Sisterhood. I don't get the Jesse James thing but hey, to each his own.

Still one gift to get and I'll get it when I go pick up hubby for lunch. Yesterday was his 2 week anniversary of being seizure-free so hopefully he'll get his driving priveledges back soon. The doctor said to give it a couple of weeks and that means 2 in my book. Hope they agree... :giggle:

Dear Carly,
I can't really relate to any actress. But I kind of like Reese Witherspoon. A lot of people tell me that they don't think she is acctractive at all. But I can't help me, I simply like her looks. But that doesn't mean I can relate to her on an emotional level. I'm more the person (like you Paula) that finds role models in books. For example, for me, Sophie (in HOT ITEM) is kind of fascinating for me. How she tries to control everything around her. I think that's impressive. Even if it doesn't always work. I think I can relate to her cause I'm the kind of person that looks for control when something unexpected happens. And I love to have a certain stability in my life. (like Sophie) Then there are other characters from books I can relate to because they just aren't perfect. And in Hollywood I somehow only know a certain actress because of her perfection or because of her good looks. So rolemodels from books somehow seem more natural to me. I know it is kind of ridiculous because these are less real than any actor or actress. But I can't help me... :winking:
Now to the Plotmonkeys and everybody else out there: Merry Christmas
Enjoy but stay safe (here, we actually celebrate Christmas tonight)
:xmastree:

See you

The actress that I can relate to is also Jennifer Garner.
I like to listen to her every time she's on TV. I had to stop doing whatever I was doing just to listen and watch her.
I feel like she's a real person like she could be your friend even if she is a famous celebrity.

Merry Christmas! :xmastree:
Happy Holidays! :santawhat: :santahat:

I really, really love your books and Janelle's.
And I hope to read Leslie and Julie's books someday. :wreath:

Reese Witherspoon. She also seems very normal and she is a wonderful mother. BTW she was married to Ryan Phillipe and is dating Jake Gyellnhal. (I know I butched their names. Sorry.) Both of these men make a little warm spot in my belly.
