Leslie’s Jungle Madness Friday!
Gosh, mid-December already??
I am SO ready to start celebrating the holidays. I have been having fun starting to look for a few new Christmas decorations for my new house, stumbled across this and just HAD to offer it for today’s Jungle Madness Friday prize:

You can bring a little of the jungle right to your tree!
And because I’m feeling very happy and in the Christmas mood, I’ll do something I almost never do…offer a NEW book rather than a backlist one!
It’s not in stores yet but is at eHarlequin, thanks to anyone who’s ordered it! And if you’re at eHarlequin, be sure to stop in and catch up on my FREE online Christmas story AND A DEAD GUY IN A PEAR TREE.
You know what to do, just comment and you’re entered.

NOTE AGAIN from last Friday/Sunday:

Any big plans for anyone? I plan on hanging out with a girlfriend - maybe go see a movie and go out to eat before exchanging gifts. Nothing too hectic this weekend. How about all of you? : :candycane: :

Good morning, Stacy and all
I’m HOPING my mother in law, and sister in law, baby and husband, will come visit. They couldn’t come Thanksgiving
and it’s my mil’s 65th birthday and we really want to see them! But the snow storm (number 2) is headed this way so we’ll see. Otherwise we still have lots of kid things to drive the girls to, dinner with friends, etc. Oh. and WRITING. Still on killer deadline. Still trying to kick butt.
Comment by Carly — December 14, 2007 @ 7:04 am
Oops, my icons got messed up. Gotta be careful with that cut & paste. That should read:

Good morning
and fellow jungle friends…
Great prize offers today Leslie…definitely count me in…A new book too…I love it…That monkey ornament is so cute…Hey Carly, have you ever gone to the Paul Frank store in NYC? It is near Little Italy…that may be a stupid question, but I wanted to know…
Guys remember those songs “Let it Snow” and “White Christmas”? Well, I think the sky regurgitated all the snow it possibly could on my little town of Pomfret Connecticut…it looks picture card perfect outside…there has to be over a foot and half out there…I can’t believe how much snow fell already and it is not even Christmas…I hope the students who were stuck here got out this morning at 3:00 a.m., but I really doubt it…no planes are going to leave Bradley Airport so with this snow on the ground…we are definitely going to have a white one this year…and we could probably build Frosty’s entire family out there today…
:snowmanhead: :snowmanhead: :snowmanhead: :snowmanhead: :snowmanhead:
You know what is so ironic, I am reading a book right now, in which both the H/h are stuck in her house because they had a blizzard in Colorado…it is one of the Baby books from an old Harlequin series Babies in the USA…something like that…unfortunately, I am not as fortunate as she was to have a drop dead gorgeous hunk of a man knock on my door so we could be stuck together…LOL…
Another storm is supposed to be coming in on Saturday too, but this time it is sleet and freezing rain…the roads are going to be crazy…if any of you are traveling up hear in the NE or even in NYC do be careful out there…
Peace and love,
Paula R.

a plug over there…

Well, we lucked out here yesterday on all the snow, but we got about an inch of rain instead. The snow is coming for Saturday though they have said. I hope it doesn’t get too bad, my brother is supposed to be coming from NC for the weekend. Those of you in the NE who got bad weather yesterday and are expected to get more this weekend, be very careful out there and take care of yourselves.
Take Care and have a good weekend all!!!!!!!!

Hello plotmonkeys and everybody else,
mastree:
But the forecast for Christmas day is good they say. I’m dreaming of a white Christmas and this dream might come true. At least something.
Yeah, it’s actually me again. I didn’t forget you and I actually felt pretty bad for not joining you during the last days. Now, after reading through the entries I’m sure I really missed out on a lot of fun stuff about Christmas.
But I was so busy. It was my mother’s birthday first and then I had a lot of problems going on but now I’m back.
I’m really glad this week is over, believe me.
The weather here is pretty bad today. It’s freezing but not snowing. I hate this kind of weather. If it’s so cold than I at least want to have snow
Now thanks to you Leslie for doing another great contest. Love you guys.
Enjoy the weekend, I think we deserve it all and I’ll try to rest a little bit
Have fun all, enjoy and stay safe
See you
Vero

That monkey is too cute. Big plans this weekend….seems everything is on this weekend….my folks are coming to celebrate Christmas; the Christmas pagent is Sunday with my two youngin’s (one’s a shephard and one’s an angel…well, I think he is, last time I asked he wanted to be Winnie the Pooh), practice tomorrow; my oldest has to pass out flyers to recycle Christmas trees tomorrow…plus, I am still sick (I still can’t hear, despite all of the meds I got at the doctor)….sigh….

Hey Leslie,
.
this new cover and I think it’s definitely one that’ll draw everybody’s attention once it’s on the shelves. Looks some kind of mysterious to me and honestly I think if you don’t see the guy’s face there’s much more left to imagination. Great :applause
That’s nothing compared to those storms.
don’t count this comment
I’ve just learnt about that chapters on eHarlequin and read the first ones. Great idea. I simply love it and can’t wait for the next chapter.
Great job done, Leslie
As for yesterday’s topic: Janelle, I
Carly, I’ve just read about your weather problems. And I’m complaining about the cold
Paula, you take care, too. I’ve just read your last entries and you seem to be having some weather problems there as well.

Y’all can see that I’ve kind of updated myself on the last entries and comments.
Seems like Friday is the busiest day of the week. I’m wondering why LOL
Have fun and beter not leave the house when the wheather is like crazy. My advice: Make yourself comfortable and read one of the plotmonkeys’ books or just Leslie’s eHarlequin story. It’s definitely worth it.
Be careful
Bye bye

What a cute ornament, unfortunately I would have to hang it off something else, as my tree this year is a fibre optic one with no where to hang pretties
Comment by Ilona — December 14, 2007 @ 4:08 pm
I’ve just followed the tracks from the on line story which I think is brilliant. it seems a long time until chapter 6 on Monday and horrible to think that by the time your story concludes Christmas will be over. I was going to use some good old British reserve and not include any bouncing icons, especially as there isn’t one with a pith helmet to track the way through the jungle!!!! However, to heck with it I just can’t resist

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend
