  39. Sniff, Sniff. Need I say more?Snff sniff

Yesterday Mommy and Daddy took me to a new place.

At first it seemed lke a wonderful place.

You know friendly faces, people gushing all over me.

Well I am very cute you know.

Then I am put into my crate and wisked off to h##l.

First I am shaved and tatooed. Then I am micro chipped.

After that it is all a down hill big fog.

7 hours later I finally see my owners (forget the Mommy and Daddy stuff).

I hear the vet say “No running and jumping for a week.”

Mom says, “Is he serious? Boy this guy just doesn’t have clue about

    yorkie puppies.”

The trip home was also a blur. ouch.

I have decided Mommy and Daddy are gonna pay big time for this.

Going to Maine for R&R. See you all soon.

PS Love the Books Wow That is a great selection.
And who doesn’t just love Starbucks.
Hmmm is that Leslie and Carly on that sled?

  42. You can always tell exactly when December gets here by the way my anxiety levels shoot up. Did I get this person that? Do I have the stuff to bake that? What to get my mother-in-law? What to do with my cat while I’m in Georgia for two weeks (MIL’s allergic & my mom doesn’t care for cats)? Will I get all these books read on time for the reading group discussions? Or will I get sidetracked with all of the holiday themed books again this year? Oh my there I go again scaring myself silly…

  46. Good morning Plotmonkeys and everyone,

Great prize today! Wow! Throw my name in the hat. Please!

Kelly, I’m crying with you. I’m so sorry. Putting down a beloved animal is one of the hardest things you’ll ever do. The sad thing is you never really get over it. I had to put my springer spaniel, Smudge down back in the 70’s and my heart still hurts everytime I think about her.

I’m sending a big cyber hug your way. Take care,

On a lighter note–it’s Friday and aren’t the Plotmonkeys wonderful! Logging onto this site is something I look forward to everyday. It’s so much fun to be here–like being wrapped up in a cozy blanket with a cup of hot tea. :santahat:

  50. Kelly, i dont know the circumstances of having your lab put down but i do know just how hard it is.. ((HUGS)) to you and your family.. as for explaining it? well, i guess my advice would be to keep it fairly simple..explain that your lab was very ill, or hurting and she is in heaven now.. so she doesnt hurt anymore.. its tough to make it too complicated for a 3 year old.. i hope all goes well…

  85. Oh God, I think I might have just run over this little mouse…I just got back from the grocery store and was walking around the back of my car to get to the passenger side and I noticed this little mouse right outside on the driveway. He is so tiny and cute and just sitting there. Every now and then he would shift a little but he didn’t run off. I wonder if I ran over him with my car! I don’t particularly like mice and I know they carry diseases and all of that but when you look down into a pair of beady little eyes…I mean he’s about the size of a golf ball….

    I feel terrible…
