Jungle Madness Friday!
I’m thankful for cookies…because really, who doesn’t love a great cookie? These are from Mrs. Fields…and even if they don’t quite arrive in time for Thanksgiving, they’re cute! And there are brownies inside, too! 18 Nibblers® cookies, 12 Brownie Bites, and two frosted cookies. Yum! Post a comment. US residents only (non-US are eligible for the Amazon Giftcard!)…and only one entry per address!

I’ll throw in a backlist book…depending on availability!
Oh! And the winner of the ARC of PHANTOM PLEASURES is Alison #4! Send me an email (julie @ julieleto.com) and I’ll post it ASAP!
Come back Sunday to see who got the cookies!

Cookies, yum, they would go great with a hot cup of tea on a morning like this. As I looked out the window this morning when I got out of bed, the ground was covered with snow. Yes, I said, the ground was covered with snow.

Yey, Alison!
Those cookies look SOOOO yummy! I could use them. I have been stuck in the house with sick boys this week (I still have one sick….). This is funny…I haven’t been to the store in over a week…I tried to make brownies last night (I NEEDED chocolate!) and I didn’t have any eggs. My fridge is SO empty (I don’t even think I have EVER seen it this empty, I am thinking of cleaning it!). So pathetic, I know…..
Happy Turkey Day, everyone! Safe travels…

Very sweet prize!
Comment by Maureen — November 16, 2007 @ 2:40 pm
Cookies are good food. A few cookies doesn’t sound as bad as a few slices of cake or a few bowls of ice cream. Cookies can be dainty sitting next to a cup of tea or a dessert when they come from the Pepridge Farm bag. A cookie is a treat for a job well done and a comfort after a crappy day.
Me, I’m a chocolate peanut butter kind of girl.

Wow are the holidays coming fast this year or what?
Carly we need a star or something for the 5th so we can wish you a
happy holiday too. Hugs to all and some slurps from Zoey
Comment by jeannie & trouble — November 16, 2007 @ 2:48 pm
When I take various cookies to meetings the men always reach for the Peanut Blossom cookies first, and then chocolate chip.
I aways make Pumpkin Nut cookies for Thanksgiving-it was a recipe I had when I used to be in 4-H in Colorado. A hint: freeze the raisins you put in cookies before you put in the mixture and they will stay plumper after baking.
Comment by JOYE — November 16, 2007 @ 2:54 pm
