I'm not much of a TV addict (maybe, working in the industry for 30 years did it...), but did see PRIVATE PRACTICE. Yuck! All characters, except Addison, are awful; cast has no chemistry & even formerly good actors pretty much suck; &, bottom line, to me, it's INSULTING to sick people to focus on medical fields that aren't those that try to make people who are ACTUALLY SICK better. I look at Addison & say, why have you sold your soul? Totally agree about Izzy & Geo. A def Ick factor.

Have seen the promo for SAMANTHA WHO? (but, not the show) & it looks as if it might be cute. Also, have heard good things about WOMEN'S MURDER CLUB.

That's it for me.

Private Practice, is just a filler that I watch before Dirty,Sexy, Money. A show that I was not going to watch but found myself really liking. I tried watching Bionic Woman, boy was that a mistake. I laughed during the pilot because the acting was so bad and it has not gotten better. I really like Chuck its quirky funny, I also like Journeyman it comes after Heroes and there nothing really afterwards so I just watch ti.

I Like Janelle really really like Big Shots( I thought I would only watch to see Michael Vartan, but I really like at least 3 of the guys Josh Malina character just gets on my nerves) I'm still watching FNL so I didn't have a chance to watch the Murders Club. I tried to watch Moonlight but as with Bionic Woman I was really dissapointed in it, it tried to be Forever Knight and its just not working for me. started watching Men in Trees. Sunday I watch Cold Case and that usually rounds out my tv week, unless you catch me watching either baseball or college football.

Oh, Walt, yes, I forgot Journeyman! I had actually heard it was already canceled, though.

I have watched it--just too lazy to change the channel after Heroes I guess. I loved Time Traveler's Wife, and see some potential with this, but you're right, it's a bit slow and the triangle between him, his wife and his brother is annoying. But I do really like the element of him running into his "traveling" ex in the past, not knowing where she is in the present.

I had to add my 2 cents.
I'm very disappointed with the new shows this season. :bigcry:

Chuck
Pushing Daisies (jury is still out on this one)
Bionic Woman is kinda Cool.

I Love Ramsays Kitchen Nightmare. :whipbanana:

And my new love of the season is Dirty Sexy Money.
I think it is really good.
:snoopy:

I was really disappointed with Moonlight. The new vampire show.
the writers don't use the rightr vampire love to make it believable. i love Vampire books. I think they should ask some of the Paranormal writers of Vampire stories like susan Squires their thoughts on this subject. :vampire:

I'm sticking to House, NCIS , Grey's Anatomy and BBC America. I'm getting hooked on that chanel. :heart1:

Leslie, agreed with all of your calls, right down to the Chi McBride lovin'.

I didn't want to like REAPER, but the attitude of the characters is correct and funny. The Jack Black character should have been the one to be cursed with the job... and then I realized he LIKES the Call To Adventure. You need someone who keeps refusing The Call to make it work. In a way, it's like I DREAM OF JEANNIE with Hagman's character not wanting the power and Dailey's character relishing the thought of controlling Jeannie.

PUSHING DAISIES is too quirky for it's own good, but the dialog may yet save the show. Banter. It still has a decent level of banter, but the lead character hero doesn't have enough of a challenge. The producers are dazzling us with flash, but eventually that wears off.

What you didn't mention was JOURNEYMAN, which is a bit slow and uninteresting, but I can't stop watching it... for now. Funny... the book THE TIME TRAVELER'S WIFE was a hit with the woman pining after her man... and in this the woman is just plain pissed. That and the four way romance... I want to see how this sets up.

MOONLIGHT is already running out of ideas.

PRIVATE PRACTICE has already been summed up with the word "Whiney" and I'll just leave that here.

Speaking of whiney, that's what BROTHERS AND SISTERS has turned into.

Oh, the female hero of CHUCK? Why did they get a Portia DiRossi look alike? Is Portia herself too expensive? The show is getting repetitive, but since I want to see how the soap opera there works out, I'm still on board. It's a show for kids, but I still enjoy it.

I've DVR'd every episode of Private Practice so far this season ~ and haven't watched it at all. Not sure I'm going to. I loved the teaser last season on Grey's, but Private Practice just hasn't grabbed me like I thought it.

I love Pushing Daisies ~ It is my new must see show. I love that it's quirky and is out of the norm of the other shows on TV right now.

My other new favorite is Moonlight ~ The guy that plays Mick absolutely flips my switch. He and the heroine have great chemistry also.

This is a democracy! Differing opinons are allowed...lol!

As I said, I see potential in Pushing Daisies...and was totally prepared to love it too. But I just...didn't.

I just have too disagree a little bit about the shows. I love Pushing Daisies. I think it's because it reminds me of something that could come from the mind of one of my favorite directors, Tim Burton. It's just that querky it does work. Just my opinion though.

Chuck and Reaper are two of the best shows of the season. I'm hoping they stay for the rest of the season and get picked up for a second. It happens with too many good shows that don't get picked up.

Private Practice I like as well. I went into it not comparing it to Grey's Anatomy and I think that's why I like it a little more than most people.
As for George and Izzie, they either need to get together or just stop, that I agree with you 100%. However, I still miss Denny. They never should have killed him off. :unlove: :boohoo:

I will have to respectfully disagree with your assessment of Pushing Daisies. I am loving it so far. I don't find the show too over-the-top or trying too hard, and I've been a Lee Pace (Ned) fan since Soldier's Girl and Wonderfalls.

I wish I had a DVR or Tivo. It would make life so much easier, what with the shows I try to keep up with.
