A pirate walked into a bar and the bartender said, “Hey, I haven’t seen you in a while. What happened? You look terrible.”
What do you mean?” said the pirate, “I feel fine.”
“What about the wooden leg? You didn’t have that before.”
“Well, we were in a battle and I got hit with a cannon ball, but I’m fine now.”
“Well, OK, but what about that hook? What happened to your hand?”
“We were in another battle. I boarded a ship and got into a sword fight My hand was cut off. I got fitted with a hook. I’m fine, really.”
“What about that eye patch?”
“Oh, one day we were at sea, and a flock of birds flew over. I looked up and one of them crapped in my eye.”
“You’re kidding”, said the bartender, “you couldn’t lose an eye just from bird crap.”
“It was my first day with the hook.”

Congratulations Michelle…it looks like I really missed a lot of good stuff this week. Sorry about that…I wish I was able to take part in the Jaci Burton and Karen Rose discussions…I am going have to go back and check those out…this week has been rather hectic…I didn’t even have enough time to set aside for myself…it was tough and now I am trying to just push on…one bright spot though was that my autographed book came Carly. I picked it up last week…Once again thank you for sending it and the book marks too…I hope that all is well with everyone…I hope to be more active this week…if not during the day, then probably late at night…

Seriously though, I really learned a lot from yesterday’s blog and I haven’t ever read any of Karen’s books so I’m looking forward to “meeting” her characters.
