I’m still in Maine until Thursday. It sure is quiet and dark at nite.

Leslie, Sounds like a fun weekend!!

I finally got to see Pirates of the Caribbean 3…It was GREAT:thumbsup2: I absolutetly loved it:love2: I thought it was by far the best one. I especially loved that Elizabeth (Keira Knightly) had such a great role in this movie. And of course Johnney Depp was amazing!! For anyone who hasn’t seen it yet its a must see

Wine tasting here in NY is fun too. My mom now goes with a friend on a seniors trip to all the wineries- so she can drink.

I ended up at the bookstore, but only to buy a g/c. I did hit Lane Bryant, Pennies and Hot Topics. Wait until he sees the credit card statement. :wallbash:

Although, having to spend the weekend with his kids and grandkids, then we go on vacation with half of them in two weeks, I guess I can refer to it as therapy. Heavy duty therapy.

Sounds like a dream of a weekend. I’m glad to hear you’re almost finished with the book. I guess this means that Bruce brought you back the yummy dessert when he was out of town?

I love Jesus Christ Superstar and to see it outside must be awesome.

Leslie, sounds like a wonderful, fun weekend! I didn’t know Virginia had a wine country. I am in Sonoma county in northern California–Wine Country! I can no longer drink wine so sometimes it is hard to live here & be surrounded by all these wineries & vineyards. I love showing off the area & don’t mind being a designated driver since I can’t drink the wine!
One of Gena’s books is in my TBR pile. Historicals don’t grab me much these days so I have not read Mary Jo. Once in awhile I read one but it is rare!
Glad to hear your writing is going well. Can’t wait for the next book!

Glad to hear that your book is almost done. Whoo hoo. I forgot to mention that earlier.

That’s too funny about the usher…..the owner of the restaurant we were at (they closed the restaurant for us and they were serving us) kept drinking as he was pouring the cocktails and cooking. That kept us laughing! As he said, ‘what happens here, stays here”. LOL!

(feeling a little better…got to vent to a friend, so I feel a lot better).
