Hope your flight went well yesterday, Carly.
That is odd for her to put the babies in the middle of the yard, but she obviously felt safe with you guys. My first thought was lawnmower - between the baby geese, ducks and killdeer (birds that lay their eggs in the middle of the yard - or road
) I’m having a horrible time mowing. I’d be devestated if I even crushed an egg so mowing has gotten to be very stressful at this time of year.

How cute! One year my parents had some in their back yard. We had like two days of rain and my dad went and checked on them and one had died.
All that water. They took an old big garbage can lid that opened in the front and put it over the bunny’s home. Mommy could come and go and babies stayed dry. The rest did fine and stayed dry after that. They next year they had baby bunny’s again. Don’t know if it was the same mommy or not. It’s so nice when nature takes up residence in our own backyards.

The baby bunnies are soooo cute. Last year, there was a baby on my porch. Somehow, it got away from its momma. The mom was hiding under my shrubs. She couldn’t wait for us to leave so she could rescue her little one.
