Hi Julia! Not sure if you’re still popping in to see if anyone commented on your comments so you can comment back…but i wanted to say hello and to tell you how VERY sorry I am that I wasn’t here to greet you properly. I feel like a horrible hostess…I was dealing with a move from hell and had no internet access.

Anyway, thank you SO much for visiting. I LOVED YOUR BLOG and can relate to it completely! Isn’t it amazing how many of us have that same need to distract ourselves from what we’re supposed to be doing? lol! Snacks–check. Dog–check. Email–check. Youtube–check. Blogs–check. Research–check. The only thing you have that I don’t is the gym, as evidenced by my cottage cheese butt. Then again, with 3 kids, I have another type of distraction, too.

I’m sorry, I stepped away. I had to find out who the father of Anna Nicole’s baby was. Larry Birkhead! (knew it). Yes, Patricia, my day just got more interesting- I skipped Oprah today in favor of the breaking news on Anna Nicole.

I think I’ve almost covered all the emoticons.

Welcome Julia, Thanks for sharing your day with us. Your “diary of distractions” is priceless. You gave me a good laugh, hopefully you don’t consider that an insult.
At the moment I am retired but have to face job hunting later this month. I am single so the only distractions here are all my books, the computer & of course all the TV programs I just have to watch! Housework, I just don’t have time & I hate doing it anyway but it keeps calling me, I keep ignoring!! Must do something soon before the dust covers everything & I can’t find what I am looking for!!
Your book American Diva sounds good. Is it connected to any other books? Guess I should go check your website but I need some lunch first!
I hope you visit us again here someday as I loved being entertained with humor. :love2:
