Cool covers, Carly. You’ve really been lucking out lately - I see your books everywhere. I hope that means they are selling really well for ya
Comment by Stacy ~ — March 6, 2007 @ 7:43 am
I love the new covers, Carly. They’re so different from what you usually see on romances. They look almost like billboards for TV shows… or, um, maybe makeup or shampoo.
Very chick lit, especially the headless chick on the left. I have one of those!
Comment by Diana — March 6, 2007 @ 7:45 am
Love the covers on both books!
Comment by Kim — March 6, 2007 @ 8:08 am

The covers look great!
Comment by Yolanda — March 6, 2007 @ 9:06 am
Love the new covers, not that I didn’t like the old Cross My Heart cover. I can’t wait for SWAK to come out though. Okay why does it seem like an eternity in between books?? I am guessing that is what happens when can’t get enough of your favorite authors books.
Comment by Kelly F. — March 6, 2007 @ 9:19 am
Love the covers Carly!!! Can’t wait for Sealed with a Kiss and the pb of Cross My Heart.

Comment by Emily — March 6, 2007 @ 9:52 am
Wow, everyone. Thanks!
SO TELL ME WHO HASN’T YET READ CROSS MY HEART (and was it b/c it was hardcover?)
I’m curious.
Comment by Carly — March 6, 2007 @ 9:55 am
Carly you have so much spunk I just love you!! I loved Cross My Heart and am probably the only one who wishes SWAK was in hardcover so that I could put it on the shelf next to Cross My Heart (when i’m done reading it of course…lol) I try to keep my authors together, but I also try to keep hardcover and soft cover together, and then of course if a book is a sequel I try to keep them together….I know I have issues…lol As you can see I’m a little OCD
Anyway, I’m very excited for you and hope the soft covers are a success!!
Comment by Tina Martinesi — March 6, 2007 @ 10:07 am
Great new covers. I can’t wait to read Sealed with a Kiss, I absolutly loved Cross my Heart. Your books are great no matter if they are in hard cover or in paperback. I love all your books. However, I still have some of your older stuff to read. I can’t wait.
Comment by Mary — March 6, 2007 @ 10:20 am
Great covers. Have a great day everyone.
Comment by Crystal B. — March 6, 2007 @ 10:21 am
Fabulous Covers!!! I haven’t read it yet but I own the hardcover and it is in my TBR pile. I buy books when the first come out for my favorite authors regardless of whether they are in hardcover or paperback. I plan to read it soon. I greatly looking forward to it!
Comment by Stephanie S. — March 6, 2007 @ 10:25 am
Great covers! I have not read it yet because it was in hardcover. I rarely by hardcovers so I am looking forward to getting my hands on the paperback edition. Sometimes it can be so hard to be patient but money is tight right now so I have to be. Hardcovers are just too over my budget.
Comment by Cherie Japp — March 6, 2007 @ 10:34 am

Kudos on the covers Carly. No, I haven’t read Cross My Heart because of the expense in hard cover books. (sorry).
Comment by RobynL — March 6, 2007 @ 12:47 pm
Thank you
Thank you
Thank you
I can’t wait to read this. I loved Cross My Heart and wanted to know Hunter and Molly’s story as soon as I finished the book. In fact I think I might have emailed you as soon as I finished CMH asking you to please write it.
I’d love to read it now and I’ll buy it when it comes out as well.
Comment by Vicki — March 6, 2007 @ 1:05 pm
Awesome!
I love the covers, especially for CMH, it just looks good and I saw this in an email yesterday.
Congrats!
Comment by Qua — March 6, 2007 @ 1:36 pm

Comment by Liza — March 6, 2007 @ 1:41 pm
Wonderful Covers! I love them! And the MnM’s that is so classy. I am very impressed with your ideas….
Way to Go!
Comment by Debbie — March 6, 2007 @ 1:44 pm
I am among those that HAVE read the book. Although, now I am falling into the category that “tries” to wait until paperback. Being a stay at home mom means my money is not in abundance. LOL! But I do own Cross My Heart in hardcover. Thanks for thinking of us readers who love your books and want to be able to afford buying rather than borrowing.
Comment by Kelly F. — March 6, 2007 @ 1:46 pm
I love the new covers. I bought Cross My Heart in hardback, but I will definitely pick up the new paperback when it is released, that way I will have the matching set with Sealed With a Kiss comes out. Have a great day.
Comment by Patty L. — March 6, 2007 @ 1:57 pm
love the covers, cool carly
Comment by kim h — March 6, 2007 @ 1:57 pm
Those covers look fabulous and the MNMs sound great
Comment by Maria Duncan — March 6, 2007 @ 2:01 pm
Why am I not on your newsletter list? Good question. I am now.
I’m with Katie, I didn’t get it because of hardcover cost. Remember your post about hubby having an issue with your “book-a-day” costs? Well, I kind of fall in the same category, so I HAVE to stick to paperbacks. I can somewhat justify them. Somewhat (lol).
Great contest - thanks!!!
Comment by Jodie — March 6, 2007 @ 2:48 pm
Great covers on the books!
Good question, why am I not on your newsletter list? I will take care of that right away. Expect an envelope from me coming your way!
I have not read Cross My Heart because it was in hardcover. My income is very, very limited which does not allow for buying hardcover books. I prefer paperbacks because they are lighter & easier to take with me. When I go to bed I always read for awhile & paperbacks are much easier to hold.
Thanks for the “surprise” giveaways! :present: :love2:
Comment by Donna M — March 6, 2007 @ 3:00 pm
The covers look really great
Would love to win
Comment by Marie — March 6, 2007 @ 3:08 pm
Great covers!!! Had the pleasure of seeing them when I received your newsletter and thought they were wonderful at the time.
Appreciate the surprise giveaways…thank you for coming up with them and the terrific hours of reading you give us with your books.
Comment by Shari C — March 6, 2007 @ 3:23 pm
Hey Carly - great idea - surprise giveaways! Love it!
I can’t wait for SWAK to come out. I’ve been waiting for Hunter & Molly’s story. October is soooo far away.
I sent you a SASE yesterday and I’m looking forward to the bookmarks and stuff to come in the mail. These little things just seem to perk up my day.
Comment by Carolyn A. — March 6, 2007 @ 4:16 pm
I love getting a hardcover book. I only buy when I love the author and can count on a great read. Some bookstores like Waldenbooks and Borders (and Amazon.com) give you 30%-40% off. That’s a good deal.
I know it’s still a splurge (did I spell that right?) but it’s my only vice - I don’t smoke or drink - I read. I love buying books! I like putting them on my bookshelf grouped together > I’m like Tina M. - must be OCD, but hey there are worse things out there.
I do love the new covers - very appealing. I do wish SWAK was coming out in hardcover to match my CMH.
Comment by Carolyn A. — March 6, 2007 @ 4:26 pm
I just got in my SASE, too! I love swag. I am so weird.
Comment by katie — March 6, 2007 @ 4:43 pm
I love the new covers, Carly. That dress looks as good on you as it does on the model. The pictures on the new covers make the character easier to relate to and that has to be a positive thing, right? I’m beginning to catch your excitement and start counting down the months with you! Hang in there, it’ll happen all in good time. You must be sitting on pins and needles.
Comment by Karen Haas — March 6, 2007 @ 5:12 pm

Comment by Terri — March 6, 2007 @ 5:57 pm
I love the new covers! I have to be honest, I get hardcover releases from the library. I find paperbacks easier to hold while reading, with the lower costs I can get 2 or 3 books for the costs of hardcover.
Looking forward to picking these two up!
Comment by Carol — March 6, 2007 @ 6:08 pm
Love the covers. Didn’t read the hardcover - will on the paperbacks

I love the new cover, very colorful and looks like a woman that has secrets to tell.
Of course, you know that I have read, “Cross My Heart.” And I would read your books in hard or soft cover.
This is the best prize that I have ever seen. You ladies are the greatest! There should be more writers out there that appreciates their fans the way that you girls do.
I want to win, win, win…..

That doesn’t sound to desperate does it….LOL

IF YOU WERE WRITING A SEQUEL WITH MOLLY–I AM SO GLAD THAT
YOU DID.
