Oh how exciting! September works wonderfully for me being vacation time

and all. I put you first on the list of to takes. It’s all about a Maine camp,

my true love, camp fires, toasted marshmallows, country fairs, colorful

folliage and great books. Oh yeah and no bugs! I have been

waiting for Joel’s story. I’m sure it will be well worth the wait.

Thanks, Cherylann! I appreciate your outrage on Marisela’s behalf, I really do. All is not lost…there is still at least one publisher still interested. And you know, maybe she’s just ahead of her time. Maybe waiting until I can get the rights back to the first two books might not be a bad thing.

Also, if my NAL paranormal series does well, they are open to the idea of pursuing Marisela. So there is that!

Anyone who just watched the race will understand. I’m a Mark Martin fan and I thought for sure it was going to be his year. I’m so frustrated for him I want to cry!

Cherylann - sorry, not a good finish for Jr. either - I didn’t even notice where Mikey ended up but how did Gordon end up so high?!? Guess all those cars not finishing in front of him helped (lol).

Jeannie, nothing definitive on Marisela…except a lot of very complimentary rejections. Seriously, everyone was very complimentary of the stories and the writing, but just couldn’t see the right way to market the books. In the meantime, I’m working on my new ghost gypsy series for NAL/Signet. I’m very, very excited about it!

Thanks for asking about hubby.

So far the Drs have said the tests came back negative, HOWEVER, per one of the nurses, by the time the knew to check for it, he had cleaned himself out of anything that might have triggered the tests. Tomorrow I am calling the CDC and seeing what they can tell me, or if they want to test the jar. Still not happy with the lack of findings, but am happy that every test they gave him shows him to be clear of anything. they did another colonoscopy, sona gram, mri, ultrasounds, upper and lower GI’s. He’s healthy as a horse. Just doesn’t want to eat like one right now which is good. I’m not letting him drive either- I like his car. Any excuse to drive it.:thumbsup2:

Hi Jodie,

Your right Jimmie did prove it last year that it cld be done. I feel so bad for Mikey I know he is hurting especially since his daughter asked why he cheated.

My son & hubby are rooting for Gordon and I keep teasing my son what’s the matter Jeff can’t race without his car being fixed and he will say look at Mikey because I like Mikey & Dale.
