Thank you for letting us in on how your first story got published…very interesting and brave of you. Thank you also to your husband for his effort and support. I love the original cover of NIGHT WHISPERS…I think it would take me a while to get past looking at the cover…ha,ha. Oh, he is ‘nice’ to look at. So glad things worked out the way they have and all of us readers got to enjoy your wonderful books.

I love how your husband is so supportive and pushed you out the door to get you started. I’m glad stretching the truth in you letter didn’t keep you from being published. All your fans would have missed out on some great reading material if you hadn’t taken such a risk. Way to go!!!

Leslie, thanks for sharing that story with us. I am so thankful that you & my other favorite authors continue to write, continue to bring us wonderful books to read, please keep up all the hard work. It is funny to see one of the “older” Temptation covers! My how things change!! Bruce sounds like a wonderful man, a real keeper.

What a great story! And I remember you eluding to your lie on eHarlequin. Now I have the whole story! You know, I’ve never met nor spoken to Brenda, but she does seem like a nice woman. Your experience has been echoed by a number of people lucky enough to work with her.

And yes, I would hate you, but fortunately you posted that diddy about professional jealousy so I’m remembering to listen to the Karma gods who are telling me to simply be happy for you. LOL!
