Carly’s February Jungle Madness
You’re probably thinking I’ll go with a HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY theme, right? Wrong! Today is National WEAR RED DAY in honor of the American Heart Association’s fight to educate women about heart disease.
As you know from Tuesday’s post, this is a cause that is extremely important to me. So besides encouraging you all to wear red today, I am giving away prizes that support the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women Campaign.
A vintage style brooch made of red/garnet colored rhinestones; a Love Your Heart Recipe Book with over 40 heart healthy recipes and tips and your choice of a book from my backlist! (subject to availability).

I believe a healthy heart is very important. I recently had a life line screening to determine if I am high risk for a stroke as it is part of my parent’s health history. I also try to watch what I eat and exercise each day. I have been blessed so far in my life with basically good health and am trying to keep it that way.
What a wonderful prize…and a great reminder for everyone to maintain and promote a healthy heart!!!

Fabulous prize!!! The pen is beautiful. I love the cookbook. In my house, we have a huge variety of cookbooks to select from when deciding what to cook.

What a wonderful and thoughtful gift. :love2: :love2: This is something that is very dear to me as my mother in law passed away from heart disease and I would proudly wear this pin as a reminder to myself and others….
The recipe book would be great for me to us with myself and my future husband as he has hypertension.

Carly, I think the prizes are wonderful and that heart health is so important. It affects women and I think sometimes we get so caught up in being wives and mothers and with work that we don’t take time and think about ourselves. Excellent to bring awareness

I remembered your post from Tuesday so I donned my red scrubs today, just for you. On my badge, I have a small pin of a red dress, just for this cause. And I work for 6 absolutely fantastic ‘women’s health’ doctors who encourage to each and every patient to be heart-smart and heart-healthy.
What a wonderful prize! The girls at work would be sooooooooo jealous!!
