Leslie’s Jungle Madness Friday!
Hi everyone and Happy New Year!
I’m visiting my house in Florida this week, which is why I’ve been a little quiet. But Carly reminded me that this is my week for our contest, so I have been wracking my brain trying to think of something fun. Hmm…what’s fun…chocolate is fun! And books are fun!
But we’re all doing good resolutions and stuff, right?
So…healthy chocolate…I’VE GOT IT! How about a tin of Hershey’s chocolate covered pretzels?!? 
(I know, I know, not exactly healthy…but it’s better than triple chocolate caramel fudge stuff, right? 
Winner gets these delivered to your door.
And to give you something to do while you’re munching, I’ll send you my next book, which isn’t even in stores yet!! (But, to be technical, it isn’t exactly new since it is a reprint of my very first book published in 1999.) 
How about, just for fun, I send you an autographed copy of the NEW version AND an autographed copy of the OLD version for a friend.

What a wonderful prize to start the year. Your wonderful gift and the warmer weather we are experiencing make me feel very happy. In my book there is no such thing as bad chocolate; I love it plain, dark, white, with nuts, with carmel, surrounding pretzels, and any other way they want to make it…yummy!

My, how Temptation covers have changed. Actually, that line went the way of the dinosaur, didn’t it. I like the covers so much better now. I don’t think I read that one, so count me in. As for the tin of chocolate covered pretzels, I would SO be willing to share with my co workers. For a price, of course.

We spent a few days down in Big Pine Key (in the Florida Keys) at a house my brother rented for the month of December. 3 hour drive down and back. A family reunion for my side of the family - 15 of us.
Are you going to miss Florida when you move to Maryland?

I’m cracking up over the varying opinions on the original cover. Some people loved it–he had a hot body, that was for sure. But I saw that face, thought John Boy, and just started to cry…lolol!
And Susan, to be honest, so far I am loving living in Maryland. The weather is so much nicer. While I am really enjoying being in my *own* house with my own stuff and being able to see great friends (had lunch with Rocki St. Claire & Cami Dalton yesterday!) I can’t say I miss this Florida heat AT ALL.

Oh PS: Celise, I think if Temptations had had covers like my new one, maybe it’d still be out there going strong!! :whimper: I LOVED Temptation–loved writing them, loved reading them.
Actually, this reprint is part of a 4 book special release package Harlequin is putting out next month, including early Temptations from 4 fave authors–Julie Kenner, Tori Carrington and our own Julie have books out, too! All with very similar, fabulously contemporary covers.
