Well, if you’re like me, you’re already caught up in the insanity of the holiday season. I’m already stressed from the deadline hell I wrote about on Monday, as well as now starting to shop, wrap, decorate, bake, etc. etc. etc. Don’t get me wrong, I love the holidays, but I also find them so incredibly draining. And at the end of a long day of doing all that Mom stuff that everyone expects during the holiday season (and that everyone thinks just magically “happens” nothing feels better than a long, decadent soak in the tub.

So, this week’s Jungle Madness Friday winner will get this Bath & Body Works gift basket in Warm Vanilla Sugar, to soak your cares away.

I’ll also send you autographed copies of my two Christmas themed books–MAKE ME OVER and DON’T OPEN TILL CHRISTMAS for you to read while you’re relaxing.

  23. I love the holidays. I hate trying to do everything while everyone sits around and watches. On top of everything I have to twin proof the livingroom and diningroom. The tree is up and the lights are on it finally, and half the shopping done, but this place is a sty. Hubby goes to bed and the kid hide or goes out. Anyone got a maid I can borrow??????

  40. Yep I’m all stressed out as well. Not only is this month Christmas for me, it’s also my birthday, 6 of my friends’ birthdays, and my grandmother’s birthday who died this past Feb. I have a feeling that before January gets here my nerves are going to be so frazzled it’s not even going to be funny!

  45. Great prize Leslie. I think I have both those books on my keeper shelf but they are buried behind other books on my overflowing bookcase!!

  59. I don’t even have to come up with excuses anymore. Holiday stress or not, my family knows that by 9:00 every night I’m gonna be sunk down in my bathtub with a book and nobody, but nobody, better interrupt me for anything.

  60. Hi, Hang in there. I went to the Clarins counter at a local Macy’s this weekend and had a complimentery facial. It was LOVELY and really helped reduce the stress. It also smelled great. Maybe you would enjoy one, all the plot monkeys. Make an appt. ahead of time- they do try to sell their $$$ products but they are very nice if you just tell them your there for a little Tlc.
