A Joke
I’m tired … and I have to blog … and so you’re getting a joke!
This 80 year old woman was arrested for shop lifting.
When she went before the judge in Cincinnati he asked her,
“What did you steal?” She replied, “A can of peaches.”
The judge then asked her why she had stolen the can of peaches
and she replied that she was hungry. The judge then asked her
how many peaches were in the can. She replied 6.
The judge then said, “I will then give you 6 days in jail.”
Before the judge could actually pronounce the punishment, the
woman’s husband spoke up and asked the judge if he could say
something. The judge said, “What is it?”
The husband said, “She also stole a can of peas.”
HAPPY TUESDAY!

Remember the woman (I don’t know where she was) who chose jail time over community service as a way to get away from her husband and kids? I can’t remember what she did, I just remember the big debate between all my friends as to what kind of husband she must have to want to go to jail. Not usually, but on rare days, it doesn’t sound like such a bad idea!

I think it’s good for spouses to go on separate vacations from time to time. Not every couple can be together constantly. Though I do know those that work together, hang out together, vacation together, and it works for them. But I bet more people would be happy if they could get a little break and let be about “me” instead of “us”. Nothing wrong with that.

I agree that sometimes you need a little time away from everything by yourself, just to regroup…………Have a great holiday everyone……….. :thumbsup2:

If I were that little old lady I’d deny it and say that he was the one that stole the peas! At least then she’d get some peace and quiet in her own home.

You would need a break from a husband like that!

Thanks for the laugh Carly. I hope you get some rest.

That was great! I loved the picture and the accompanying joke was a riot!

I have taken trips without my husband from time to time. It sure has put a lot of fire back into us after I get home. We miss each other so much! My husband says also that while I’m away we have a ghost that plays tricks around the house. The t.v. won’t work. Things get lost and then suddenly appear in a spot where he already looked. He gets so spooked that he can’t wait until I get back home so the house can go back to normal again.
