What Are You Reading?

I am reading a book called Juliet Immortal. It’s a YA book with the re-imagined premise behind Romeo & Juliet. What if Juliet *did not* kill herself, but was murdered by Romeo in a bid for immortality? What if this action makes Romeo evil, but Juliet is rewarded by making her somewhat of an angel of love, who comes back to life in the bodies of other young girls to right wrongs and connect them with their soulmates? And what if as a price for Romeo’s evil, it is his job to stop her?

Yea…it’s awesome. Juliet is totally kick-ass in a believable way. Romeo is a great villain.

What about you? What is your current read?

(BTW, I read Janelle’s THE AWAKENING this past week…really, truly loved it. I generally do not like BDSM, but the way Janelle handled it was fantastic. Worth a read and still only .99!)

    Right now, I’m reading Between by Kerry Schafer. Magic, romance, mystery and murder. So far, it’s awesome. =o)

    Good story – I’m on the plane reading on my iPad mini – and my husband says, “that font is HUGE” … I’m like … “as in you can SEE it?” And he replies, “I could read it … if I wanted to.” I was reading Maya Banks’ RUSH – color me MORTIFIED. Need a privacy screen!

    I read Janelle’s THE AWAKENING too. I liked it as well and I agree I’m not into BDSM either but she did a great job, as I knew she would :devilbanana:

    Just Finished Susan Mallery’s Three Sisters. Seemed kind of slow paced til about 45 /50% through. Very dramatic if you like that. This is the 2nd book in the Blackberry Island series which is more serious that her Fools Gold series.
