Things are looking up!! First of 4 children is coming home tonight. Tree is going up tomorrow. Christmas music is playing! Shopping is almost done!
Just found out that I’m starting a job the first week of January!! I’ve been trying to get my old job back for months.

My daughter & grandson that live nearby worked on Thanksgiving. We had Thanksgiving yesterday! It was fun, delicious & I have some left over turkey thanks to them. He did all the cooking with some advice from his mom & myself! I made gravy for him!! It has been years since I made gravy! It could have been a bit thicker but the taste was okay. It was a good day spent with people I love.

My voice has given out and I’m coming down from Daddy’s trip to emergency Monday. He’s on hospice now and I can now rest my voice for a while…We’ll see if he’s spending Christmas with us or Momma who passed on 11/12 after 66 years together.
My heart goes out to you. Your parents had a long and fulfilling life. God bless you and give you the strength to handle whatever He decides is best for your daddy. Will be praying for y’all.

I’m still having health issues. I play on the computer some but mostly READ! Don’t know why but I have been in a post-apocalypse frame of mind lately. I’m not a zombie fan but love the way mankind comes together to survive.
