So glad to hear Carly and Leslie are safe. Thoughts and prayers for everyone affected by this Frankenstorm. I am in western PA, we have had over 5 inches of rain, trees downed from wind damage but all in all we have been blessed. Still is raining here and trying to change to snow. At least Trick or Treating has been postponed until the weekend in my area for all of the little ones. Stay safe everyone! :rainman:

I live outside of Baltimore and we had heavy rains and very strong winds. I have power but the other side of the street does not. A big, old oak fell across the street and took out power lines. Thankfully everyone in my family in MD is with power and okay. NJ CT ABD NY weren't so lucky. Prayers and thoughts go out to all those folks who have to rebuild.

Prayers go out for all those on the coast and affected areas, and their families who are waiting south and west, waiting to hear how they're doing.

We live in Texas. It's fine fall weather finally! Almost feel guilty for enjoying it while people east are experiencing Sandy. My son's dad is stationed on the East Coast, so he's been glued to the TV watching for news of his town and area. Know he'll breath easier when his dad is able to contact him again. Figured he probably got put on alert to work.

Will be thinking of Carly, Les and the rest of the monkeys and people east and offering prayers.

My little town of Burlington, NJ got hit with wind and rain, but luckily no flooding. We have had the power out for about 24hrs now though. Estimated time of power return isn't until November 2nd. I just moved here on the 13th! Never experienced a hurricane either, definitely a little freaky. I couldn't believe how bare all the stores shelves were! I am going stir crazy with nothing to do and my bf, who I just moved in with, is sick as a dog so its a bad time for us but we're safe& sound and so very thankful of that. My best wishes go out to all those other people who were not as lucky as we!

Hey guys...I'm okay!!! Got the yet from Liza. Tree feel close to my dorm, but no injuries. We did lose one of the offices to an electrical fire though. Thank God the person who usually works there decided not to sty and work. My amity is doing well in NYC. My mom said power was fine, and I knew they'd be safe from flooding.

Good to hear both Carly and Les are ok. Checked in with both throughout the storm. Still saying prayers for those still in the danger zone. And I second Julie, STAY INSIDE IF YOU CAN!!!

Peace and love,
Paula R.
