Thanks, Nicole – we live in the path of the hurricane in NY. Hope it decides to veer off. Was supposed to hit Sun nite of Monday, my bday, but now they are saying it may hit later.
I will get some food in just in case and sometimes that keeps the hurricane away. LOL.

Even though I’m retired, I still LOVE Fridays! Yay! We live in southwest Florida and it has been so hot…until today! We are finally able to open the sliders and windows and let those gorgeous, dry breezes come in. It feels so good. REAL AIR! And the best part? We don’t have any leaves to rake. Sorry…didn’t mean for that to be a Naaahhhh! :batteeyes:

The good: The UofO Ducks are playing and I get to watch :threecheers
The bad: My Momma is on hospice and I’m struggling with how to let her go
The ugly: I have my first colonscopy on Monday and that means bathroom Sunday and juggling my Type 1 Diabetes

And just hoping that if it is bad enough on Tuesday, they call my class cancelled… because if it isn’t, and since I get a ride in, and said ride probably will not want to go, I really would hate to think that I’m going to miss something. But hopefully, no one else will want to show up, so all will be fine.

I spent the day preparing for the hurricaine due to arrive this week-end. Campstove – check, propane – check, freeze water and put in freezer – check, bring wood wood for fireplace and wood stove – check, candles and books on table near fireplace – check.
The only thing left to get done tomorrow is putting chair and table in cellar so we’re good to go!
