Do you keep a list of books and hero/heroines? Sometimes I think I should. I FORGET!
I never have — though I should! I’m sure I’ve reused names.
Hayden, Davis, Jordan, Zach. I don’t know all the names you’ve already used either.

Give me a clue on his heritage? He could be an Aidan or a Giovanni or a Viktor. What’s his personality like? Is he a Jack? A Prescott? A Gabriel? Now, all that said, if I were simply looking at this picture and trying to name him, I’d go with something one syllable and strong. Jack. Cade. Scott. Luke. Mark. Matt. Nick. Sam. Kurt. Zach. Not quite from A to Z, but some ideas, hopefully.
Naming a character is one of the hardest things I do as a writer. I’ve even had a character inform me half-way through the book that I had his name wrong. Yeah. I fixed it to what he wanted. :rotfl1:
I like using one syllable names, too!
Well since I watched Once upon a Time last night and we learned Capt Hook’s real name I vote with Kellen. something about that name screams sexy to me. :onfire: :eyebrow: :hallpir:

Coming up with names is really hard for me, too. I agree with what Silver said, the one syllable, strong name. But I don’t have anything new to add to the list. Sorry. :?
Is this him (hawt)? Troy or Toby? I’d go for more of the ‘short, but strong’ names. I was just thinking when I saw this list…I was never really a fan of “Christian” (although, I understand the Biblical reference) in that “49 plus one” book.
I also like all of Donna M’s choices (although, probably not Taylor, as nowdays, Taylor is typically a ‘girls’ name).
I really like Christian as a name, too — but that name belongs to Christian Grey, LOL.
Everyone has suggested such great names. I’ve always liked the name Declan.
Declan is a great Irish name!
How about Chad, Austin,Alex,Lance,Chip,Jake or my favorite is Nick?? I’m sure you will make a great choice!
I like the names Jace and Devin.
I have enough problems naming animals when I get them. And all my cars are George. Except for Big Red. And Smurfette.
