As you can imagine, I’ve been doing more writing and wedding planning than reading lately. But I have a hard time falling asleep–even if I am dog-tired–unless I read a couple of pages of something.
Finished up my non-fiction kick by reading Alison Weir’s The War Of The Roses. It was very long and a bit dry, but since I knew next to nothing about this period, I was really interested in the story. Then I re-read Justin Cronin’s The Passage. I am sure I blogged about this two years ago when I first read it. The sequel comes out next week (YAY! I’ve had it pre-ordered for my Kindle for months!) so I wanted to do a re-read to get ready for it.
What about you all?

I actually just picked up two books and read them (I, too, haven’t read a book in a couple of months….too busy and tired). I read a couple of books from the Desire line). I have another one to read and then I have some books on my kindle/ iPad (you know me, I’m the reluctant e-reader) that I got free like Julie’s boks or from that same website). looking forward to it!
I’m reading Til Dawn Wuth the Devukby Alexandra Hawkins.

I just finished a YA called “Paper Town” for book club and found it really excellent. Not sure what I’m starting next, but reading everyone else’s suggestions
I mentioned earlier in the week that I read Robyn Carr’s reissue Blue Skies. It was sooooo good!
If you like Robyn’s books don’t miss out on this one. It is a stand alone, not part of any series. The book was originally published in 2004. Before that I read Somewhere Along the Way by Jodi Thomas. This is the 2nd book in the Harmony, TX., series. Very good. Now I am waiting for the 3rd book to arrive!! Right now I am reading a library book that is very different. It is a non-fiction, but not a story. The book is quite different than what I thought it would be. Not sure if I am going to stay with it.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend. :flag: :flag: :flag: :flag:
