I am so very sorry for your loss. This sentiment from Thomas Bailey Aldrich helped me upon the loss of my beloved Nana:
“That which is lovely never dies, but passes on to other loveliness.”
I actually have it framed next to her photo, even now, and when I look at it I am reminded that so many of the loveliest things about her live on in me. I hope the thought helps you as well.

My thought and prayers are with you and your family. I too have recently in July lost my grandmother but to me she was more then that she was my mother..she hated when I said that to her..but I could only speak the truth. This last weekend was the our first family gathering (Thanksgiving) and already the saddest was so hard..I could only say some days will be hard and others you’ll just smile at the wonderful memories they have left behind…I wish I could give you a hug personally but it’s just a little hard.. :grouphug: from all of us I’m sure.
