Fall is my favorite season. I love the smell of the cooler crisp air. I have a huge front porch with wind chimes. My favorite thing is to sit in the porch swing with a cup of coffee and listen to the chimes.

I love the spring because it is the start of long months of warm weather, sandals, and long days.
:rainman: We had a huge rain yesterday which brought the temps down. This week we’ve dropped from a high of 103 to 57 right now. I’ve shut down the AC, opened windows, and now I’m thinking I need to find my favorite hoodie! Have a great weekend everyone!

Happy Friday Everyone! I love fall. I love curling up in a sweatshirt reading a good book. I also love the smell of a roaring fire. Brings back memories of curling up infront of the fireplace reading when I was a kid.

I don’t know if this is allowed to be posted here (if not, please feel free to edit), but I would appreciate any thoughts and prayers from my fellow readers. It is coming up on a year since I lost my big brother. I am the only one left in our immediate family. It has been a rough year for me. You don’t have to respond to my post, just, if you will, keep me in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you all so much! Books are what has kept me sane this year.
I wouldn’t mind having summer forever, I dread the coming winter! Snow, ice, shoveling, dressing up in winter coats, hats and mitts not to mention boots for almost 5 months is too much…

I have been.looking forward to my kids going to their grandparents house this weekend, but my in-laws are not feeling well. So I am racking my brain for craft ideas to keep them occupied!

Just spent two days making apple butter. Yummy
Since I live in New England I’m looking forward to sitting in a comfortable chair and being able to just look outside and see all the trees covered with leave of the bright colors of orange and red in all thier glory.
Even better since my husband is a Master Brick and Stone Mason I’ll be curled up in the chair in front of a fireplace gently throwing off just enough warmth to wrap me in a comfortable cacoon while I’m reading a wonderful book!
Nice idea. My daughter is coming home for a weekend from college and we are going apple picking. A good book and a crisp apple. Yum. Hope you have a blessed week.

We don’t have a proper season known as Fall here. It’s what I call
yo-yo weather! Take this past week, it was in the low to mid 90s,
then a day down in the low 70s, and it’s currently 85 degrees. This
type weather will continue until one day it will turn cool and stay
there! We have been known to go from shorts to jackets in a day’s
time!, bypassing sweaters!!
