What’cha Reading Saturday

Posted by at Sep 8, 2012 7:16 am

So yesterday was National Book Reading Day — at least according to the various book lovers I follow on Facebook – who gets this info from where, I wonder? Anyway, here’s what bought when I found out to celebrate (I’ll be reading on the treadmill!). Seducing Cinderella by Gina Maxwell and Wrong Bed, Right Guy by Katee Roberts. I’ve heard some good buzz. Has anyone read them? What are you reading?

Just starting Jayne Castle ‘The Lost Night’. It’s fun to occasionally drop through the curtain to Harmony.

BTW, on the holiday/special day subject, I found a site years ago to use to keep people at work paying attention to my emails and newsletters – just something out of the ordinary enough I’d know they’d read it. http://www.brownielocks.com/

Nope, I haven’t read them…I’m a little behind in my reading as I’ve had a really rough 2 weeks :gimmehug: . I’m catching up on Jennifer Ashley’s Shifters Unbound Anthologies on my Nook, then Janet Chapman’s Courting Carolina, then finishing Jill Shalvis’ Forever and a Day so that series is all caught up :reading: . I’ve got Shelly Laurenston’s Howl For It waiting on the end table with Meljean Brook’s Rivited…I said I was behind…

It’s raining and we have a chance of having a tornado pass through the area so we got out the flashlights and candles as well as going out to buy a canister of propane for our old Coleman stove and our pile of books have been chosen with care!

I just started reading Cara Elliott’s To Surrender A Rogue but have to have a “stand by” in case the storm hits and we loss power. Hum, so many choices to pick from but it definately won’t be one that includes “It was a dark and stormy night”!

I read Seducing Cinderella last week and enjoyed it. I’m currently reading Julie Leto’s Dirty Little Lies on my Kindle — a treat I got for free this past week. But am currently depressed about my Razorbacks loss and all the injuries the team had…but I was reading during timeouts. :boohoo:

Carly–I’m reading DEATH COMES TO PEMBERLEY by P.D. James. It’s an interesting updating of PRIDE AND PREJUDICE, but I don’t care for each event that occurs.

I am reading Bared To You by Sylvia Day. I cannot stop reading this book. It is the absolute graphic sex book I have every read. Its not porn is just two people having rabbit sex on every other page. I am going to Lora Leighs RAW and Sylvia will be there at the end of the first book are questions to think about the story and I can’t wait to ask. Please read this book and let me know what you think.

I read both Seducing Cinderella and Wrong Bed, Right Guy. Loved SC, WBRG, not so much. SC had great characters and great story line. WRRG was just so unrealistic and far fetched that i just wanted it to be over. Getting ready to read Mine to Hold.
