I just finished Bared to You by Sylvia Day and I loved it! I can’t wait for the second book in the series to come out in October. Next I’m not sure what I’m gonna read. So many great books in my to be read stack.
I’m finishing up Donna Grant’s Dark Sword series so I can get caught up with her Dark Warriors releases this summer…gotta love those Highlanders They’re so HOT and these are SO tormented…
After that I’m torn between Larissa Ione’s Demonica/Horsemen Series or Jill Shalvis’ Lucky Harbor Series, decisions, decisions…
Somewhere in there I have to sandwich Karen Ranney’s A Scandalous Scot because I love her and haven’t gotten her fabulous book read yet on my nightstand
Oh and let us not forget the upcoming releases of Lynsay Sands, Lora Leigh, Kendra Castle, Lisa Hendrix (much anticipated and long awaited) and Janet Chapman!
I’ve been on a SEP marathon reading those I hadn’t read, or found, before. So I’m on the last book I picked up at the library Dream A Little Dream. Next on the tbr pile is Sherryl Wood’s newest.
:flag:  Go USA! I stayed up until the end of the opening ceremony last night. My humble opinion is that it was one of the better ones I’ve watched. It didn’t seem to drag making me wonder when it would end! I loved the fireworks, the digital show in the stadium & the way the Olympic Torch was lit. All in all, kudos to the Brits especially Danny Boyle. :applause:
I just finished reading The Kissing Sailor by Lawrence Verria & George Galdorisi, a non fiction researching the sailor & the nurse in the famous Time Square kiss on V-J Day, August 15, 1945, the end of WWII. That was the day after my 5th birthday!! :applause: I’ve seen that famous picture most of my life. The book was interesting maybe a bit to long but I am glad I read it. After that I needed a different read. I choose to start One Was a Soldier by Julia Spencer-Fleming. She is a new to me author. Not sure just where I heard about this book but so far so good. This is one of my many library books stacked up here!!!
Enjoy the weekend. Enjoy the Olympics if you are watching. :flag: :flag: :flag: :flag: :flag:

Been watching the olympics with my daughter. Just finished Susan Elizabeth Phillips “The great escape” and Mary Kay Andrews “Summer Rental and Spring Fling” All books Two thumbs up!
My current books may not be the kick start you need. I am currently reading Alexander Outland: Space Pirate by G.J.Koch. It’s a good book but not romance. If you like sci-fi with a large dash of humor, you will probably like this. I am also reading Matched by Ally Condie. I had high hopes for this one but it has failed to really knock me out. It’s ok and I will probably read book2, Crossed, but only because my daughter also wants to read it. When I finish these, I plan to look for books with no relationship to these. Either a Karen Rose thriller or an historical romance. Hmm, or maybe a contemporary romance….I just can’t decide. Good luck getting back in the groove.
Alligator Lake by Lynne Bryant. This is an awesome book, told in 3 different perspectives! Grandmother, Mother and Daughter. This book is set in Miss. and concerns and tells the story of a white girl who falls in love with a black boy and becomes pregnant in 1991. Not going to say anymore because I don’t want to give too much away. I will say that I live in the area where the book takes place, and Miss Bryant gets the story incredibly right!! This is an awesome book, that I think everyone should read. I highly recommend it. (BTW, this is totally a different book than I normally read and it was hard for me to put down!) Hope you check it out, don’t think you will be disappointed.
Tonight I’m reading – About Last Night, by Ruthie Knox. Also listening to Celebrity In Death by J. D. Robb on my iPod. Right now I’m sitting in front of the TV, watching the Olympics. :flag: :flowers4you:
I’m about to start UNDER A VAMPIRE MOON by Sands.
I’m a knitter – what are you working on? Hubs wants me to make him an alpaca wool sweater. I told him if he buys the wool sure. Can’t wait to see his face when they ring up the bill ;).
