I have those friends. In fact my college friends are the ones I drop everything to help and know they will do the same for me. Very blessed to hove these friends in my life. Also very lucky as we all ended up in the same general area. We are all at most a 30 minute drive from one another.
You are very lucky to reconnect with college friends. I feel I’m doing well just trying to stay connected with my siblings. LOL
I know what you mean and you are lucky to have them. I have a few friends from high school that are like that. We were out of touch (completely my fault) for like 20 years and we recently reconnected and it is really justl ike old times. I am so very very fortunate to have them back in my life and I am not going to let them go again!
One of my college roommates I have known for the past 34 yrs! We still meet once a month for either breakfast or lunch and it still seems like we are 13 yr olds again!

I talked to my BFF tonight.. We alwasy touch base at least once a week… And I email them all the time… We will never lose touch no matter what…
One of my friends I have known for over 50 years. :thumbsup: We have always been there for each other. She is the first one I think to call if there is something to celebrate or shed tears over. We have seen each other through the good & the bad & the in between. We have a history!! Sometimes she is the only person I know will understand. Another friend, former co-worker, I have know for almost 20 years. She is the best, we stay in touch through thick & thin. There are several other good friends that I treasure. I feel blessed in my friends.
I spent the day with my oldest grandson, he is 23. We went on a hike that took us to a black sand beach, spent time on the beach, walked back to the car then went to lunch. Great day. Sunny, breezy, beautiful, good company.
It sounds like you had a great time with good friends. Best way to spend time.
