Carly Phillips would like to take 100% credit for all her stories but the truth is, Carly’s strength is writing family, emotion, funky elderly people and animals. She couldn’t plot her way out of a paper bag, which is why she smartly found her plotmonkey pals early on in her writing career. OMG! I just saw that you were in WPB! I had to work but I live only only 45 minutes north. It was hot, hot, hot almost 90*. Hope you were able to relax and enjoy yourself. Hope too that a lot of people showed up at the library.

Are you still in Florida enjoying yourself between the panic episodes? You didn’t ask but I’m telling you anyway what I’m reading (at night after reading all day at work). Just finished Laura Kinsale’s Lessons in French. Just a precious book…I loved it. Now I took the Plotmonkeys’ suggestion and am reading Ride With Me by Ruthie Knox…a travelogue Romance and it’s great! Although I can’t image riding across the US on a bike!!! Can you say “sore butt“? Have a great weekend!

Hello Carly, How are you feeling? Is your back getting better? I hope you are feeling better and will stay that way. Just got through with your latest… DESTINY and it was a really good read. I loved the passionate nature you gave Kelly. I love women characters that embrace their own sexuality and Kelly had it in spades. Nash was a very interesting man, he had a lot to personally work on and I totally got his point of view as far as how he felt about Ethan and eventually with Dare. Cool named people in this series. LOVE IT AND THEM. I am so looking forward to what you have in store for Dare and Liza. CANNOT.WAIT.

Happy Friday!!! Looking forward to spending a work-free weekend and playing with our new puppy!!!! He’s 3/4 yorkie and 1/4 maltese, a morkie, about 16 weeks old and 3 lbs. We just adopted him last Sunday. So nice to have a dog around the house after losing our 11-1/2 yr old wire fox terrier in December.

I’m still up because I’m reading Viscount Breckenridge to the Rescue by Stephanie Laurens. I’m suppose to be up early tomorrowo but I just have to read just one more chapter – or three! No, I really will put it down, really I will but just not yet!
