One thing I love about our little jungle here is the love. Whenever one of us has a book out, we can count on a good portion of you to run out (or click thru!) and buy it because, for the most part, you wouldn’t come here if you didn’t like our work and want to know more about when the books are coming out. You do, after all, hear just about all our big news here first, read excerpts first, get first dibs on great deals or learn special behind-the-scenes info that just won’t fit on Twitter. Yes, I expect many of you hang out here also because, well, this is a nice place to be. Fun, no stress…a happy blog where readers can chill for a few minutes with their coffee or on their lunch break. I know I do!
For instance, I’ve been mentioning for weeks that if you go sign up for my newsletter, you’ll be entered to win a Kindle. And I may have also mentioned that if you are signed up for my newsletter, in less than two weeks, you will get information that will not only allow you to enter up to six times to win a Kindle Fire, but you will also get a shot at six free books. (If I haven’t mentioned it…I’m mentioning it now.)
So…sign up for my newsletter, if you haven’t already. It’s on my homepage, now on the top right hand corner. You’ll get more info about how to get in on those other deals by December 8th.
If you were signed up for the alert that goes out when I update my website, you’ll know that I’ve officially announced the digital re-release of the Marisela Morales books. Of course, you saw the covers weeks ago, but it’s official now…they’re out.
And in a few weeks, I’ll be re-releasing my Phantom series. You heard it here first!
I know we ask this question in various ways a lot…but what else can we offer here at Plotmonkeys? Is there something more you’d like to find in the jungle beyond the friendly atmosphere, first chance at Plotmonkey news, great weekly contests, awesome guest blogs and daily new content?
Edited to Add: For those of you who already have Kindles and Nooks…two exciting new digital only releases are out today by two of my favorite authors:
Roxanne’s book is never before published, the book of her heart that she has finally released and the book includes a Guardian Angelinos short story. Patricia’s book is a digital re-release of one of my favorite Harlequin Temptations EVER! You can’t miss with either book!

By all reports, Julie Leto was a sweet child once, somewhat shy, preferring to play quietly in her room making up stories. However, being raised with three brothers in a loud, primarily Italian household did have its influences and Julie discovered her inner tough girl. That’s probably why most of her heroines kick serious butt. Writing sassy heroines has worked out, as she’s sold over forty books to four publishers featuring strong, confident women. Julie lives in Florida with her daughter, a spoiled dachshund, a haughty lynx-point Siamese and a wide range of relatives all within driving distance.

I must have missed the information in your newsletter on how to enter six more times to win a kindle fire (I did read the newsletter, but probably it’s because it’s been crazy in my life). I think you guys rock, so keep up the good work :)

Maybe I didn’t mention that yet…it will be in the NEXT newsletter I put out, which will be VERY soon!

I can’t think of anything that should/needs to be added to the Plotmonkey blog. The friendship you have with each other is something that spills over on to all of us that visit here. I thank each of you for that. The contests, the guest bloggers, learning about new-to-me authors are all reasons to visit each day. The variety of topics is always interesting, sometimes just fun, books (of course), movies, deeper subjects are sometimes the topic. The comments from other Plotmonkey fans are another reason to keeping stopping by. I say, keep up the good work.

I downloaded the books to my Nook yesterday-even tho I still have the originals, The Spawn has never read them. I bought her a Nook and hooked it to my account, so she can read what I buy. It’s cheaper than buying books twice. I can’t wait to re-read them myself.
I saw the news about Roxies book and immediately bought that too. I didn’t know about Patricia Ryan’s.
I think it was on Roxie’s fb last night I told her that things like this are going to bankrupt me. this is why I avoided having a wireless ereader for so long!!

I can’t think of anything that needs to be added to the blog – its great that there is always some variety.
For anyone who cares in addition to the titles that Julie has mentioned, the late Sandra Hyatt’s Lessons in Seduction was released posthumously today. I understand that her friends in the romance world are trying to get word out there to maximise the royalties that her family receives. She was a Desire author.

Lyn, I posted on both Facebook and Twitter about Sandra Hyatt’s book, but didn’t get a chance to put it up here. Will take care of it! Thanks!

I really enjoy this site. I look forward to the Saturday posts where I can see what others are reading. I have bought quite a few books and found new authors from Saturdays recommendations. Keep up the good work.

Plot Monkeys is my first stop every single morning. Sometimes I don’t get to post right away, but alway first stop. I love everything about this blog and love spending time with my friends here each day.
I bought Rocki’s book last night and just bought Patricia’s book a minute ago (thanks for the tip, Julie).

You will not be disappointed. I love her writing, but that is one of my top ten favorite Temptations ever!

I really like The PlotMonkeys just the way it is and thank you for all you do for us!

Just bought both books for my Nook.
I love the Nell Sweeney mysteries Patricia wrote as P.B. Ryan, so I’m sure I will enjoy A Burning Touch. Can’t wait to read Roxanne’s latest! :

Thanks for the head’s up on Rocki’s book. Downloaded and ready to go on my iPad. I love the Jungle the wybit is now. It feels like home, so I would vote for no change. I think you all hit everything with the offerings and set up as it is. I really loved when you did the guest posts from readers re the Conference in San Fran. Maybe we could do something like that again one day. I hope you are all having a great evening. Have a good nit.
Peace and love,
Paula R.

I never win anything
as much as I love to read I still remain win-less
One Day I will maybe when there’s a cold day on…..
well anyway. I won’t let it stop me from continuing to build my vast book collection.

Actually I wouldn’t change anything.
Okay, maybe some more interviews with Harlequin authors. I’m a HUGE Harlequin reader and sometimes, in my opinion, Harlequin authors, debut authors in particular don’t get promoted as much. My blog is actually dedicated to Harlequin. I do review and blog about other books but Harlequins are my first love. I’ve been reading all four of you ladies since the Temptation days and will never stop. Okay, I’m still waiting for Leslie’s follow up to Slow Hands. Tabby really needs her HEA.
I have Ms. Morales on my Nook now.
I also plan on reviewing Sandra’s book on my blog in two weeks. I’ve got a couple of other Harlie’s to read and post. Plus, I just got it today.
