Look What I’ve Got…
Leslie Icon

I’m desperately trying to finish a book that my fabulous editor has been waiting for, so I’m keeping my head down and writing that rather than this blog. Instead, I’ll just tease you with this:

I got a couple of copies in the mail today and I’m willing to share one with a lucky commenter. Just tell me why you want to read it and I’ll pick a random winner & will post the name tomorrow.

Good luck!

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Winner’s from Monday’s blog post for a backlist ebook from Vivian Arend:

Na (Comment #15)
Laurel Newberry (Comment #36)

Leslie

LeslieLeslie Kelly used to say she wanted to be a doctor when she grew up, but then she discovered Nancy Drew books. Being a flashlight-under-the-covers-nose-in-book reader throughout her childhood, she couldn’t think of anything else she’d rather do as an adult than continue to lose herself in fictional stories. Her real life marriage of 20 years to the man of her dreams is a constant reinforcement that happily-ever-afters really can happen…and that they’re worth writing about. Living in Maryland, Leslie spends her non-writing time laughing a lot with the above-mentioned romance hero and their three daughters. Though an author of more than thirty sexy, contemporary comedies, she has recently branched out to write dark romantic suspense under the pseudonym Leslie Parrish.

I’ve wanted to read this book since Alison Kent first talked about on her blog. She mentioned how a picture of a SEAL preparing to start his day overseas inspired a talk with fellow author Christie Ridgeway. This led to the project/quest to get fellow authors to write a story where all the proceeds go to the Veteran’s Medical Research Foundation. I’m in awe of our country’s soldiers. The dedication they have to serve our country to protect our liberty.

Thank you authors for taking the time to write for a worthy cause!

One of the main reason I want to read this book is I come from a family of Military members. my brother Adam is 4th generation military. and I love to read about The “good” guys finding their happy endings. I also am always on the look out for new authors and the best way is to read anthologies.

Thanks for taking the time to write something that will benefit those who fight for our freedom on a daily basis.

    Happy Wed.

I guess I would have to say that my fascination with Seals begin when I picked up a copy of Suzanne Brockmann’s Troubleshooter series many years ago. It was love a first read. Here a group of men who do their job, body and soul. Oh and don’t forget the formal uniform. :drama: Every since then I have a very special place in my heart for Navy Seals. When Team Six was taking out, he who should not be named, I was reading everything that I could get my hands on about these wonderful men and the job that they do everyday. So, I am very excited that I get to read a new story(ies) about my favorite group of men. Thanks to you, Leslie and all of the other authors for working on such a special project. :flag:

I want to read this book because I’ve read the majority of these authors before and love their work and because the proceeds are going to the veterans – who deserve more than we can ever give them. I love reading about the SEALS.

    1) Because I’ve been looking at this book for a month or so and I don’t have a Kindle.
    2) Because I look down the list of authors and I start salivating. Her! And her TOO! And even HER!
    3) Because reluctantly, as a pacifist, I realize that the military has a role to play in keeping the peace, because everyone else isn’t a pacifist.
    4) And did you see that shirtless guy?

Do I get extra entries for having many, many reasons? :winking:
