Puppiness
Carly Icon

So I forgot how much work a puppy is … luckily this time around I think I have a good one! Yes, we were going to name him Fenway after the Red Sox Stadium but at the last minute my husband begged for a name change and now he is BRADY after Tom Brady, New England Patriots Quarterback. Brady settled in quickly. The first day was hard, he was scared and he definitely likes to whine like a baby. I asked the vet what that noise meant and she said he’s saying “I’m the baby.” So cute.

The first night I woke him for walks. The second night he slept 10 PM to 4 AM and the third night he slept 10 PM to 5 AM. This is excellent! A few crate accidents but not too many. He seems to get the idea of going outside, which is awesome. Tonight he planned his escape from his crate (maybe someone didn’t shut it right?) and peed and pooped on the kitchen floor. Better than IN the crate. Made us laugh and remember when Bailey did the same and let Buddy out too!

Speaking of Bailey, she’s not too happy. She’s scared of the little guy. Not convinced? Check it out but make sure you watch to the end to see Bailey’s reaction!

A cool piece of news – very soon I will be reissuing my KAREN DROGIN books in eBook – first on Amazon, followed by the other formats as soon as the work on them is complete! That’s PERFECT PARTNERS, SOLITARY MAN and THE RIGHT CHOICE!

Well at least he seems to know his name and can walk himself! (The park across the street says all dogs must be leashed. It says nothing about anyone holding onto said leash!)

Now don’t forget to give Bailey as much, if not more, attention and love so she doesn’t feel left out!! Poor Bailey!

so cute! and shaggy like Tom too! We named our dog Remy, after Jerry Remy. (or Remy Martin, for those who are not die-hard members of the Red Sox Nation!)

Brady is so adorable Carly! I remember those days well. I didn’t mind the early wake up during the week but couldn’t wait for my Buddy to sleep after 5 AM on the weekend. Now he sleeps later than we do.

I’m sure Bailey will come around soon enough. Enjoy!

Carly – Brady is the cutest puppy I’ve seen in along time. I loved how he picked up his leash and carried it around. I guess you won’t have to ask him if he wants to go for a walk – he’ll just bring the leash to you!

I understand the Patriots mania because we live in Rhode Island. My husband is not only a Patriots fan but a Rec Sox fan as well. He loves bseball so much he even became an umpire. He had been a Little League coach for years when are sons were in grade school but he said he needed to have something to do waiting for our grandsons to be old enough to “play ball”. He even already started teaching my 3 year old granddaughter how to swing the bat and hit a ball.

I think I’ll stick to being a Nascar fan (probably on of the few living in New England).

Have loads of fun with Brady and remember like any “older sister: Bailey will grow to love him soon!

Brady is so adorable. I wish I could pet him & give him a hug! Thanks for sharing the video. His sleeping habit so far seems to be very good. I haven’t had a puppy for a very long time, do not want to do that again!! I don’t do early morning very well! :D I hope Bailey will come to love Brady soon.

Congratulations on your Karen Drogin books being ereleased. :applause: :cheer:
