Well THAT Was Fun!
Leslie Icon

Well, we just finished our Blogtalk Radio Interview with Bruce on his Secrets of a Romance Writer’s Husband radio show, and WHAT fun!!!! I absolutely love talking to Julie, Janelle and Carly anyway, but to get to do it and then get to talk to readers as well, made the evening even more special.

Hopefully you got to catch the show, but if you didn’t,

Some highlights–we revealed for the first time anywhere that Julie, Janelle and I have a Blaze anthology coming out together next year! I don’t think we’ve talked about it at all, so the listeners were the first to hear about The Guy Most Likely To, a Blaze collection about women going to their high school reunions to grab and amazing night with the guy of their high school dreams. We have been talking about writing this book for several years and we’re all so excited to finally get to write it!

What a fun, fun night. Thanks again to our Plotmonkeys regulars who took the time to listen, and to those who called in, including Paula, Liza and Mary! We truly appreciated it!

Anyway, if you missed the show–or if you caught it and you would like to listen to it again (the conversation went a little fast in some places!) HERE IT IS! Be sure to listen until the end so you can hear our fabulous, amazing editor Brenda Chin, who called in from her home in Canada.

PS: There is probably an ad at the beginning–sorry! Stick around, it’s well worth the wait. Thanks again Carly, Janelle, Julie and Bruce!!!

Leslie

LeslieLeslie Kelly used to say she wanted to be a doctor when she grew up, but then she discovered Nancy Drew books. Being a flashlight-under-the-covers-nose-in-book reader throughout her childhood, she couldn’t think of anything else she’d rather do as an adult than continue to lose herself in fictional stories. Her real life marriage of 20 years to the man of her dreams is a constant reinforcement that happily-ever-afters really can happen…and that they’re worth writing about. Living in Maryland, Leslie spends her non-writing time laughing a lot with the above-mentioned romance hero and their three daughters. Though an author of more than thirty sexy, contemporary comedies, she has recently branched out to write dark romantic suspense under the pseudonym Leslie Parrish.

I will listen when I have a chance. It’s a snow day again here in the PNW. We are now up to five days (and none built in). The boys are excited today.

I was in the middle of finishing school work :posting: (I feel so weird saying that after 20+ years but yeah I went back to school) so I missed it. I’m glad I was at least able to hear it later last night. And you got to talk to my SIL, Heather called me all excited after she got off the phone. Great job you guys!

I am soooo sorry that a previous engagement kept me away from the computer last night! The new project sounds awesome! I love reunion stories. LOL (Why yes, I do have two reunion novellas, why do you ask? *gigglesnort*)

Y’all rock, and Bruce is made of awesomeness! I’ll catch the broadcast on the “rerun.”

Last night was so much fun! I hope y’all can do it again sometime soon. Can’t wait to listen to the show again. I didn’t have pen and paper handy to get all the release dates, and need to add them to my TBB list in my phone.

Les, that was a blast!!! LOVED IT!!! I’m hearing the beginning for the first time, but missed it. Bruce did a great job as producer…lol!!! I love the three books with you guys. Still have fingers crossed for all four of you writing connected books too. The chat was the highlight of my day/night! It was great to see some of the jungle bunnies there too. Also, can’t wait to read Janelle’s newest book. Thanks Les, Bruce, Jules, Carly and Janelle.

    Peace and love,
    Paula R.

That was so fun. It was a thrill to talk to the famous Bruce, I mean, the famous
Leslie, Carly, Julie & Janelle LOL.

It was fun listening to you girls chat. I got a sense of a huge support system and lots of just plain chemistry at work. There are people in the world you just blend with & we are lucky to find them.
