Well, I planned a follow up to last week’s bookclub, but that will have to wait another week. I’m sorry! Hubby had shoulder surgery yesterday, Wed. night and today are the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashonah, which is the start of the Jewish New Year, and I’m just fried. So instead, I’m going to celebrate both the new year and last night’s news – LOVE ME IF YOU DARE hit both the MAIN New York Times List (#16) and USA Today’s Top 50 (# 44). A huge thanks to all of you who bought the book! And now I’m off to take care of my husband! ![]()

Carly
Carly Phillips would like to take 100% credit for all her stories but the truth is, Carly’s strength is writing family, emotion, funky elderly people and animals. She couldn’t plot her way out of a paper bag, which is why she smartly found her plotmonkey pals early on in her writing career. Thanks to their support, Carly is now a NYT Bestselling author of 23 plus novels. Because writing doesn’t keep her busy enough, Carly is also a wife, a mother of one preteen and one teenage daughter, the primary care giver of her soft coated Wheaten terrier and an expert carpool mom.Email this author | All posts by Carly

I pre-ordered the book with the best intentions but “Back to School” has been so hectic that I haven’t had time to “crack the spine”.
I have high hopes for this weekend if this crazy Dallas weather will settle down!
Get well soon to the hubs!

Our son and dil had to cancel the family dinner that was planned for her entire family- our twin grandsons (age 5) came down with severe bronchitis. Poor babies and school just started for them!

Shanah Tovah!!
I counted the days until Rosh Hashanah this year because I really needed the vacation time and we got really lucky in Israel to have 4 days off for the holiday.
I hope you had a great start to the year
