Hey, all!
Just wanted to remind you that my absolutely, positively, utterly and completely FREE short story, SURPRISE WEDDING, is up now as a Daily Read at eHarlequin. That means that every day for the next 15 days (five days have already elapsed), a new chapter of a 20 chapter short story will go up.
This story is related to my upcoming sexy contemporary release, 3 SEDUCTIONS AND A WEDDING. In fact, without the hero and heroine of SURPRISE WEDDING, there would be no 3 SEDUCTIONS…and no WEDDING. Here’s the teaser:
Cooper Rush and Bianca Brighton have been inseparable ever since they met back in college. And it’s been ten years since Coop popped the question, and Bianca accepted his ring. But thanks to their globe-trotting lifestyle and demanding careers, they’ve never actually managed to stand still long enough to exchange vows, despite pressure from family and friends. When business and pleasure finds them in Costa Rica, Coop decides he’s finally done waiting. He is ready to make Bianca his wife, right here, right now. After all, if she’s as committed to growing old together as he is, how could she possibly object?
Coop & Bianca appear in the prologue and epilogue of 3 SEDUCTIONS AND A WEDDING, but there story will be told in its entirely and exclusively online. I’d like to show Harlequin that I do have a following…so if you could pop over and read a chapter and maybe post a comment (you don’t have to say you love the story if you don’t! I swear, I’m not taking names!) that would be AWESOME!
I know some people like to wait until the story is all over to read…I get it…but I’d love it if you’d stop over today and read a little bit…just to whet your appetite.
Oh, and I’m giving away a $20 gift card to anyone who comments here today. $25 if you also comment at eHarlequin. (Ah, the sweet smell of bribery…)
Have a GREAT weekend!

By all reports, Julie Leto was a sweet child once, somewhat shy, preferring to play quietly in her room making up stories. However, being raised with three brothers in a loud, primarily Italian household did have its influences and Julie discovered her inner tough girl. That’s probably why most of her heroines kick serious butt. Writing sassy heroines has worked out, as she’s sold over forty books to four publishers featuring strong, confident women. Julie lives in Florida with her daughter, a spoiled dachshund, a haughty lynx-point Siamese and a wide range of relatives all within driving distance.

Okay, Jules, I am back. You don’t have to count me in for the contest. I love Surprise Wedding. You had me from the first line. I can’t wait to learn more about Bianca and how Coop gets her to finally give in. Girl, I can’t wait to read 3 Weddings either. It should be a fun ride. I am so glad that you got to write this online read because I would have wanted to know what happened before.
Peace and love,
Paula R.

I’ve loved the story so far. It’s unusual to have the heroine NOT want to marry, but the hero to want to do so. I’m looking forward to see how Bianca’s attitude can change. It appears she never thought he’d leave her if she didn’t go through with it. Lesson, one can’t take anyone’s love for granted.

I checked out the story and left a comment there (as Amy555). So far, I really enjoy the story- I think it’s great to see the guy really want to get married and the woman is kind of holding out instead of the other way around. Can’t wait to see how it all ends :).

Love your story so far! Have a great weekend!

omg JULIE!!

that. I like seeing how the other people are handling stuff, b/c u never know what really “is going on behind closed doors” as they say.
ok, several things but I’m really giddy right now so I hope everything I write makes sense later!lol I get excitable when I’m left with cliffhangers!!!
I did read the 1st chapter when I first saw it available on facebook post but then wasn’t planning to come back till they were ALL posted cuz like u said above, I like to read the whole story together usually.
But I went today cuz u said it would help and got sucked in
And I was vibin’ with Bianca’s concerns and ticked off that Coop ambushed with the chapel stunt, and is it me or does this sound like I’m too vested in this??
Anyway, I finish chapter 5 and I’m dying for tomorrow!
And i read where u said What the friends don’t know is that while they’re home planning a ceremony (and getting involved in some sexy pre-wedding activities!) Bianca and Coop are dealing with issues of their own. That’s this story. I
ps–my moniker there is Miss.Scarlett
and yeah I know my name, well my nickname (real btw)is already the same as another book character (and I liked her too) but I love Scarlett o’Hara! lol! I actually wanted Katie-Scarlett as my handle but it was taken! :*&#!:
ok, I’m rambling again…peace out
