Yay, it’s Friday! This is a particularly nice one because oldest is coming home for the weekend…a few days stop-over before she leaves for India for a study abroad trip. Worried Mom is very nervous, but also very proud.
Anyway, I know it’s a few months away, but I thought I’d see if I can drum up a little interest in my July release…
I should have ARC’s of this book within the next couple of weeks.

I think you can say you love the book– it makes me want to read it all the more because it means you loved writing it and still love it after spending all that time reading it over and over and over.

As for the India trip? A close friend spent 12 weeks there for business. She adored it and has even entertained thoughts of retiring there when the time comes. She said the people were marvelous, friendly, and helpful. The roads? Not so much, but she could live with that.

Enjoy your weekend. Kids turn into adults so fast- mine are still little but I got a little teary thinking that someday they might study abroad and leave home. They get extra mommy hugs when they get home from school. I can almost hear them saying “Aw, Mommy” right now.

Oh boy would I ever! I just love the cover. Leslie Parrish has become one of
my very favorite authors.
I sure could use a good read right about now.
I can’t find a place willing to hire a 65 year old to save my soul.
It’s cold miserable and rainy here. I have been stuck in the house for so long
my mind is turning to mush. I can now only relate to my 2 year old grand
daughter) and zoey the puppy. I admit I have learned how to cook a few new
things that hubby says he likes. But money is so tight I am having to pinch
nickles until the buffalo poops. Okay that was a little too graphic.
Sure would brighten my day Leslie soooooooo, Pick Me, Pretty please with a
big cannolli with the works and a cherry on top.

It’s cold and raining here which so set the tone for the exerpt. I was transported into the basement with Vonnie and am rooting for her to make it. I would love the ARC but if you pick another I will be in line when it is released. Wish the guy came with the book!

I would love to hear how you deal with the study abroad scenario. My daughter is going to Japan in about a year and I am already having serious concerns about the whole idea. Scary to have them so far from home, but oh how proud we are of our brave eaglets when they soar.
