They were very touching, & seemed authentic. I was so happy for Sandra Bullock (loved her dress, too), because I listened to an ESPN interview with the real man (then a boy) her character adopted, who is now a NFL player. Even with the small scene shown on the telecast, I was tearing up. Can imagine how difficult it would have been for a white Southern woman to raise an African-American child. She was my lst child, I had a great pregnancy, &, after her birth, thought my life was over. She has turned out to be the most compassionate, kindest & lovliest person I know, &, even if I could change circumstances, I wouldn't change having her. She has multiple medical challenges, but, every day, she has a great day. All the rest of us could learn from her. Patricia Katie & Cher,
