Friday Jungle Madness!
Julie Icon

Oh, no! It’s Julie’s day…you probably think she’s going to give away more books!

Well, she is…but this time, you get to pick which one. Leave a comment and you just might win a $20 gift card to Amazon.

Just answer the following question…if you had to pick your absolute favorite TYPE of romance, what would it be? Friends to lovers? Strangers? Woman in jeopardy? Reunion?

Winner of today’s prize announced Sunday (as well as the two Wednesday winners)…don’t forget to check back!

Julie Leto

JulieBy all reports, Julie Leto was a sweet child once, somewhat shy, preferring to play quietly in her room making up stories. However, being raised with three brothers in a loud, primarily Italian household did have its influences and Julie discovered her inner tough girl. That’s probably why most of her heroines kick serious butt. Writing sassy heroines has worked out, as she’s sold over forty books to four publishers featuring strong, confident women. Julie lives in Florida with her daughter, a spoiled dachshund, a haughty lynx-point Siamese and a wide range of relatives all within driving distance.

Oooo it’s hard to pick ONE. But well… I’d go for reunion. Definitely Reunion.
There is something about those second chance at love stories that make my heart crumble. One of my all time favorite, Again the mAgic by Lisa Kleypas.
Thanks for this contest Julie !

Are you still cleaning out your closet???

Happy Weekend everyone it has been a very long week..

Off the subject a little I seen Duff Goldman in person last night (for those of you who don’t know him he is Ace of Cakes guy) I would like to see him in a romance and we asked about one and he didn’t say anything,…

Strangers. I enjoy all the drama that goes with meeting someone for the first time and then trying to get to know each other. Especially if one of them has a wacked out family that makes you laugh, and cringe. And figureing out which wacky realative reminds you of someone in your own family.

Good morning Jules, and the rest of the jungle…I hope that all is well with you all.

Jules, this one is a tough questions because I love them all. Let’s see. If I absolutely had to choose I would say reunion because then you get to read about the whys of the breakup and learn about the growth of each character as they “relearn” each other. We get to deal with the their sense of selves, inadequacies, the emotions they had to deal with after the break up and the growth of new love. These types of books always put me on an emotional rollercoaster ride. I love it!!!

Great question for today. I hope you all have a wonderful day. Those of you in the sun, please soak some up for me. It is a cold and dreary day here, this Friday morning, and I am getting sick. Blech!!!!

Jules, don’t count me in for the contest okay. I love you, and I would love to get my choice of a book, but my TBR bookshelves are gonna topple if I put another one up there. I will get them some other way. If the random generator decides to love me, just give it to someone else, okay. Enjoy the rest of you time blogging today. I will check back with you later.

    Peace and love,
    Paula R.

Strangers, because there’s so much for the characters to learn about each other while they fall in love. Reunion would be next, I guess, because the passage of time coupled with independent experiences again puts the characters in the position of having to get to know one another.

Hmm, it’s hard to pick just one type of romance that I like to read. I think I tend to prefer romances where the man and woman tend to hate each other but then they eventually find love. Those type of stories tend to be funny- just how the characters can’t stand each other, but then there’s a strong attraction that can’t be ignored.
