Oh, no! It’s Julie’s day…you probably think she’s going to give away more books!
Well, she is…but this time, you get to pick which one. Leave a comment and you just might win a $20 gift card to Amazon.
Just answer the following question…if you had to pick your absolute favorite TYPE of romance, what would it be? Friends to lovers? Strangers? Woman in jeopardy? Reunion?
Winner of today’s prize announced Sunday (as well as the two Wednesday winners)…don’t forget to check back!

By all reports, Julie Leto was a sweet child once, somewhat shy, preferring to play quietly in her room making up stories. However, being raised with three brothers in a loud, primarily Italian household did have its influences and Julie discovered her inner tough girl. That’s probably why most of her heroines kick serious butt. Writing sassy heroines has worked out, as she’s sold over forty books to four publishers featuring strong, confident women. Julie lives in Florida with her daughter, a spoiled dachshund, a haughty lynx-point Siamese and a wide range of relatives all within driving distance.

Oooo it’s hard to pick ONE. But well… I’d go for reunion. Definitely Reunion.
There is something about those second chance at love stories that make my heart crumble. One of my all time favorite, Again the mAgic by Lisa Kleypas.
Thanks for this contest Julie !

Yikes! A favorite…let’s go with friends to lovers.
Ready for spring

tgif…hubby comes home…his bf took him to Maine snowmobiling for the week….I miss him….but…was glad he was gone because the kids and I have been sicker than dogs….so hopefully…he won’t get it…otherwise I’ll have to listen to him whine like a baby…men!….lmao.
Comment
I still like the marriage of convenience theme. Love the moment when they realize that they are attracted to each other and then fall in love
Comment
I love reunion romances! Second chances….
Comment
Definitely friends to lovers, especially if the hero is in love already or falls in love first. I adore that scenario.
Have a great weekend!
Comment
It’s hard to pick but I like stories where opposites attract.
Happy Friday!

Well if you force me to choose…I would say reunion
Comment
Actually, mine’s not listed but I’m a sucker for the single dad-who-needs-help-which-turns-into-romance theme.
Comment
It is so tough to choose – but I would have to say reunion. There is something to be said about having a history.
Comment
I would stay friend to lover, I think they would make the best lovers they know so much about each other. But all are good ones as long as there is some good romance in there. LOL
Are you still cleaning out your closet???
Happy Weekend everyone it has been a very long week..
Off the subject a little I seen Duff Goldman in person last night (for those of you who don’t know him he is Ace of Cakes guy) I would like to see him in a romance and we asked about one and he didn’t say anything,…
Comment
Have a great weekend.
Comment
I would have to choose friends to lovers theme as my favorite. Hope everyone has a nice weekend.
Comment
Strangers. I enjoy all the drama that goes with meeting someone for the first time and then trying to get to know each other. Especially if one of them has a wacked out family that makes you laugh, and cringe. And figureing out which wacky realative reminds you of someone in your own family.

TGIF!
Comment
Oh this is difficult for I love ALL romances but if I had to pick one it would be, Falling in love with the guy/girl who’s totally wrong at first sight but oh so right for you when you get to know him/her.
Comment
I love friends to lovers too. Hope everyone has an awesome weekend!
Comment
That is a very tough question. I like them all! But I kind of like reunion ones a little more because I like to see how they react to one another after some time apart. I don’t know, maybe it’s because I just watched Persuasion on PBS Sunday night!

Comment
Strangers, because I don’t have many friends that I could end up with, so my best chance is a stranger, and still looking, lol.
Comment
lol good luck in that serch. My hubby was a wonderful stranger and is now my best friend!
Comment
I love the boss/secretary relationship. Just something about working for a sexy boss and having him realize you are not the plain jane he though you were.
Comment
I like the friends to lovers and the woman in danger. Although if the story works , I really don’t care what it is.
Comment
It’s hard to pick one, but friends to lovers is a great premise. Thanks for the giveaway!

Good morning Jules, and the rest of the jungle…I hope that all is well with you all.
Jules, this one is a tough questions because I love them all. Let’s see. If I absolutely had to choose I would say reunion because then you get to read about the whys of the breakup and learn about the growth of each character as they “relearn” each other. We get to deal with the their sense of selves, inadequacies, the emotions they had to deal with after the break up and the growth of new love. These types of books always put me on an emotional rollercoaster ride. I love it!!!
Great question for today. I hope you all have a wonderful day. Those of you in the sun, please soak some up for me. It is a cold and dreary day here, this Friday morning, and I am getting sick. Blech!!!!
Jules, don’t count me in for the contest okay. I love you, and I would love to get my choice of a book, but my TBR bookshelves are gonna topple if I put another one up there. I will get them some other way. If the random generator decides to love me, just give it to someone else, okay. Enjoy the rest of you time blogging today. I will check back with you later.
Peace and love,
Paula R.

Friends to lovers would be my favorite. Have a good weekend everyone.
Comment
Definitely contemporary. As far as others, I seem to have been reading a lot of unknown pregnancy ones lately (Yes, I have been reading the Desire line a lot)….not really my favorite.
Comment
I pick friends to lovers
Enjoy this snowy Friday
Comment
Comment
Thank heavens it quit snowing! We have had way to much snow here in Indiana! The weather this year has been the talk of the town. Every other day we have had snow and cold weather since November of 2009. That is way to much white Christmas for me! :*&#!: That is my rant for the day!
Have a fun Friday anyway!
Comment
Wow it’s hard to decide just one. I do like the friends to lover first and I think strangers next.
Comment
Strangers is my favorite.
Have a great weekend!
Comment
I think I’ll vote for women in jeopardy followed by friends to lovers…especially the younger sister in love for years with her older brother’s friend!
Comment
My favorite is Woman in jeopardy.
Comment
I love friends to lovers. It is hard to just choose one though.
I hope that everyone has a great weekend. Any big plans?
Comment
I like the stranger romances–
Comment
Definitely reunion. Especially if they were young the first time around. That way they’ve had time to outgrow all the BS and see each other for who they really are!
Tami B.
Comment
I like romantic suspense. So, of the ones you have listed, I’ll go with woman in jeopardy. (But man in jeopardy would work for me, too!)
Comment
Difficult to choose, but I like friend to lover closely followed by woman (or man) in danger.
Comment
I like the opposites attract best, followed by reunion. Great question.
Comment
I like reunion stories. Have a nice weekend!

I would go for the reunion. Hope everyone has a good weekend. Good luck!

I love plots based on fairy tales. I also enjoy friends to lovers. Have a great weekend everyone.
Comment
My favorite is the stranger one. I like seeing 2 people who just met feel that spark–even if they deny their feelings for a while
Comment
Hi! It’s hard to pick just one, but I guess it would be the friends to lovers plotline. I also like the falling for your brother’s bestfriend plot. I hope everyone has a great weekend!
Comment
I prefer, Reunion stories, i.e., they broke up, now, meet again, still attracted.
Patricia
Comment
Awww do I have to pick just one… I love the variety that is out there! Oh well today I will go with dislike to love!
Comment
I’d go with friends to lovers. Paranormal is also fun.
Have a great weekend!
Comment
I’m not going to even try to pick one. I really enjoy a good twin swap and the larger category of mistaken identity. I also love fish out of water stories. Couple it all together where you get a twin whose swapped places and everyone thinks they are the other one and is a fish out of water in the other twin’s life and I’m right there devouring the story.
Have a great weekend!
Comment
My favorite type is woman in jeopardy. I love romantic suspense.
Comment
It’s hard to pick just one. Romantic Suspense is my favourite. Not that I don’t read just about everything!
Comment
Probably reunion – you always wonder about the one that got away. Though, hmmm… I like romantic suspense as well, as they’re both in danger. Do I really have to pick ONE?
Comment
I really do like them all because I like a variety but maybe strangers or marriage of convenience – I like them to clash in the beginning.
Comment
Strangers then friends to lovers are my favorite. Have a great weekend.
Comment
I love the friends to lover plot. It can make for some great romatic comedy.
Comment
Friends to lovers is my favorite. I think that these make the best relationships in real life and I know that happily ever after is possible.
Comment
Comment
Comment
If we’re talking contemporaries, I like reunions, friends to lovers, dislike to love, and single mother/father. (Sorry, I can’t pick just ONE!)
Comment
Woman in jeopardy is my favorite. I LOVE romantic suspense.
Comment
Oy, so hard. “Friends to lovers” is always nice. I like the romances where h/h butt heads. Those are always fun :)
Comment
:rain: We have a good storm going not just rain but wind also & the worst yet to come!! :rain:
I don’t think I can pick just one theme because I like most any romance that is well written & keeps me reading.
:Irish1:

Favorite romance ever? Friends to lovers. Even better, when they were friends as kids, but more the hero (generally) was best friends with the heroine’s older brother. There’s that whole naughty forbidden tormented element which I love. Because I’m twisty and like it when the hero suffers.
Comment
What a difficult task. But, if I have to pick just ONE, I would go with friends to lovers as my absolute favorite.
Comment
I like most romances but if I have to pick one then military heroes is my thing, especially if it’s combined with heroine in danger scenarios
Comment
Please don’t make me choose! I love all romances except perhaps the
darker-themed ones! What’s the phrase? “Love makes the world go
’round”! “I’m a believer”!
Have a good weekend!

Comment
Tough call. I really love them all. But reunions are a lot of fun so lets go with that.
Happy Friday!!
Comment
Julie, we love you whether you give us books, online money or just your hugs
and
smiles! WE JUST LOVE YOU!!
Comment
Friends to lovers, followed closely by reunion/second chance stories! Happy Friday!
Comment
I like it when the hero is a stranger and turns the heroines life upside down. :Irish2:
Comment
Strangers, because there’s so much for the characters to learn about each other while they fall in love. Reunion would be next, I guess, because the passage of time coupled with independent experiences again puts the characters in the position of having to get to know one another.
Comment
Julie, this is tough! *whine* I think I’ll have to go with woman in jeopardy, especially when she’s the one to kick @$$ and save the hero.
Comment
I really like reunion stories.
Comment
I love revenge stories. I’m also a fan of the amnesia storyline.
Comment
I like romantic suspense stories… Mystery of the lovers attracts me.

I’m all for the beauty and the beast kind of romance – where the tortured and misunderstood, the not so beautiful, or the shy and retiring H/h get their shot at love!!!

friends to lovers

I’d pick Friends to lovers
Comment
I love a variety so I’m going with all of the above!
TGIF! Have a great weekend everyone!

I like secret baby stories and friends to lovers
Comment
I definitely prefer friends to lovers. There’s something super sweet about knowinng your HEA has been staring you in the face your entire life. They know everything about you and been with you through important life events.
Comment
I like the ones where there is a misunderstanding causing them to not like each other but eventually there is a realization that a mistake was made(by which time love has already entered the picture but is resisted because of pride)
Comment
I’m a fan of friends to lovers…or like acquaintances to lovers. For instance a friend’s sibling or something along those lines. Hope everyone had a great week. Yay for Friday!
<3 J
Comment
I’m partial to the reunion stories. I like reading about the couple’s history together and how they become reunited. Thanks for the giveaway.
Comment
It’s a draw between beauty and the beast and woman in jeopardy, for me.
Comment
friends to lovers :)
Comment
Gothic! I know they aren’t popular and most of them are now under the paranormal sub-genre. I love a good ghost story.
Comment
Friends to lovers gets my vote, nothing like an unusaul or unexpected relationship between friends…
Comment
I like it when the charcters knew each other befoe maybe he didn’t notice her then now he does. I like it when there is conflict /tension between the two characters first before they get together.
Comment
I really like vampire romance the best. The men are always big and tough but really gentle and loving with their women. Thanks for the giveaway! I love shopping on Amazon.

paranormal romances, especially with “the woman in jeopardy” but where she’s still strong, just in a crazy (aka paranormal) situation, lol
I

I’d pick strangers.
It opens the door to so many possibilities – misunderstandings, will-they-or-won’t-they, mistaken identities, anticipation, and all the things that make a great romance story!
Comment
Friends to lovers is my favorite.
Comment
it’s a toss up….friends to lovers definitely….that’s my hubby…was my best friend and still is….but I also love the ones that have the cinderella type romance…you know…the billionaire and the waitress….secretary…..ect…
Comment
I would pick woman in jeopardy
Comment
That’s a tough one – but I think its friends to lovers.
Comment
My favorite book is The Count of Monte Cristo, there is a love story in that where he rescues a slave girl, takes care of her, and ultimately they end up married. Meanwhile he helps another set of star crossed lovers unite. I like a love story with more plot than just a relationship.
Comment
Friends to lovers is my fav too!
Comment
Definately friends to lovers! :Irish1:
Comment
I pick strangers and maybe one of them might turn out to be a shifter hey you never know if their strangers.
Comment
Hmm, it’s hard to pick just one type of romance that I like to read. I think I tend to prefer romances where the man and woman tend to hate each other but then they eventually find love. Those type of stories tend to be funny- just how the characters can’t stand each other, but then there’s a strong attraction that can’t be ignored.
Comment
I like stories where the hero and heroine dislike each other in the beginning for whatever reason and then find out that the person they thought was so wrong for them is the one they can’t live without.
Comment
reunions, please! happy weekend everyone :)
Comment
I prefer friends to lovers romances.
Comment
I like it when strangers fall in love because you can always dream and look forward to those kind of settings :)
Comment
I like the novels where they are both FBI agents or police, where the woman is just as capable of saving the day as he is. Suspense/thriller/romance
Comment
Definitely the friends to lovers
