Leslie Kelly used to say she wanted to be a doctor when she grew up, but then she discovered Nancy Drew books. Being a flashlight-under-the-covers-nose-in-book reader throughout her childhood, she couldn’t think of anything else she’d rather do as an adult than continue to lose herself in fictional stories. Her real life marriage of 20 years to the man of her dreams is a constant reinforcement that happily-ever-afters really can happen…and that they’re worth writing about. Living in Maryland, Leslie spends her non-writing time laughing a lot with the above-mentioned romance hero and their three daughters. Though an author of more than thirty sexy, contemporary comedies, she has recently branched out to write dark romantic suspense under the pseudonym Leslie Parrish.

Chocolate is what I look for first on the menu at restaurants. I get my mouth set for Chocolate Mousse before the meal starts, so I’m all ready for an exquisite taste of a chef’s creation. Any chocolate will do if it’s in front of me or in the house. Behind the Red Doors looks like a sassy anthology perfect for cupid’s holiday.

I just started reading Play With Me. So far I’ve only had a chance to read a few pages but I can tell it is going to be a good one. 
The other day I saw a sign that said the place I was passing had Canoli’s, it made me think of you & then yummy!! Not you the Canoli’s!!

The emoties are back…I missed them…
Les, love the prize you are offering today. Don’t count me in okay…I already got my hands on this one. I absolutely loved “Sheer Delight.” Whoever wins this one, will fall in love with Les’s books all over again. The hero and heroine are wonderful. I think it might be time for a re-read of this one.

happy valentine’s day….now…onto your note about paying homage to a super couple…I love old movies…a fanatic…especially musicals…and I loved My Fair Lady…own it on both dvd and vhs….but though I adore “Henry Higgins” and “Eliza Doolittle” they aren’t the best movies either made….Rex Harrison as Dr. Doolittle was even a better role for him…though Anna and the King of Siam was good and The Ghost and Mrs. Muir was even better…but he really showed his stuff as Julius Caesar opposite Liz Taylor in Cleopatra….and Audrey Hepburn’s best role ever was a tie with many…. As Gigi with Maurice Chevalier, Between Breakfast at Tiffany’s with George Peppard and with Gregory Peck in Roman Holiday. With You’re probably gonna hate me but Roman Holiday and her onscreen Chemistry with Gregory Peck that made me adore her. Don’t get me wrong…they were great together…but they were even more spectacular for me with others.
