We’ve discussed our writing processes here before and I’ve told you mine’s particularly ugly. I just handed in my Sept 2010 book and as usual it was a mad rush to the end! 
But I’m finished! And because I love you all, I’ve decided to give you an exclusive sneak peak at my 2010 covers for:

I haven’t filled you in on my two goofballs lately, so here goes:
Buddy and Bailey
The dogs are doing well. Of course they LOVE the snow :snowguy: and Buddy hates to come back in at night, which makes MY life very hard. I usually have to call one of my daughters to call HIM because he has decided to no longer obey my voice. 
I caught them at a sweet moment but I’m very Wordpress technologically challenged, so I’ll ask another plotmonkey to enlarge it a bit ;but here’s the photo:
I’m currently working on a MORE THAN WORDS novella story for 2011 – I’m excited to be part of this charitable program Harlequin runs, so stay tuned! I’m doing the anthology with Jill Shalvis, Pam Morsi, Meryl Sawyer and Donna Hill. 
So what do you think of the new cover look?

Well I do love the covers. Quite a bit actually. They look fun and sexy, very contemporary, and the couples on the covers are so very pretty. Plus I like that you don’t see a lot of those types of covers, at least I haven’t. Thumbs up Carly!
And your little furbabies are just adorable snuggled under the covers LOL.

I like the covers, I like the “feel” of them, they do look very contemporary and fun.
And Buddy and Bailey look so sweet and innocent in that photo, I don’t believe anything you’ve told us about them!

The covers are a good change, of course we will all be missing all those HOT guys you have been putty on there but maybe we will stay out of trouble with these covers. LOL

I love the covers! The titles have a bit of a cat and mouse vibe, and we readers love the chase!!! In my opinion, the covers are fun and flirty and will stand out on the new releases table at Borders! I can’t wait to read them!

Love the covers! I do a lot of reading while waiting on kids and as much as I love covers with hunky undressed men they sometimes make me feel self-conscious….particularly with my youngest’s church youth group.
But, of course that doesn’t stop me. My standard response is 
!! The cover does not determine if I buy a book or not.

I LOVE the covers. They seem flirty, quirky, and fun. The positioning of the top folks remind me of the shoulder devil/angel for some reason.
I also love the picks of the doggies. We just got two chihuahua’s this weekend and I am so excited, I am loving every minute! (well most of them anyway)

Unlike most everyone else the covers don’t grab me but your name on the book is what counts. Glad you made your deadline. The first book is out in August, my birthday month! I know one thing I’ll be getting!
I think it is exciting that you are doing a More Than Words. Some of the authors I am not familiar with but I do love Jill Shalvis. The book will be good with both you & Jill writing a story.

The covers are truly sassy looking. They aren’t the usual close-up of either a couple or some hero. I like them. They are playful and I bet the contents will be, too.
