Jungle Madness Friday!
Julie Icon

Major moment: once again, it is warmer in my garage than it is in my house. This is momentous!

In celebration of warm weather returning to Florida, I’m offering a $20 Amazon Gift Card to anyone who posts the current temperature where there are. If you’re above 70 degrees, you’re disqualified…just kidding :winking:

Julie Leto

JulieBy all reports, Julie Leto was a sweet child once, somewhat shy, preferring to play quietly in her room making up stories. However, being raised with three brothers in a loud, primarily Italian household did have its influences and Julie discovered her inner tough girl. That’s probably why most of her heroines kick serious butt. Writing sassy heroines has worked out, as she’s sold over forty books to four publishers featuring strong, confident women. Julie lives in Florida with her daughter, a spoiled dachshund, a haughty lynx-point Siamese and a wide range of relatives all within driving distance.

      Hi Karin,

Yeah, heat wave! We will soon all be wearing shorts and flip-flops! That is what usually happens come spring when it gets close to 50 outside. On go the shorts and flip-flops! My aunt who used to live in Florida could never understand how we could dress like that and not freeze. I guess we have thicker skins!

It’s currently 10.7 C, though it apparently feels more like 7 C here in New Zealand and hasn’t stopped raining for the last several days. The major problem that I have with this weather and the temperatures is that its supposed to be summer and the weather more resembles winter.

Can’t help but want to shiver reading some of the temperatures that people are experiencing at the moment.
