Leslie Kelly used to say she wanted to be a doctor when she grew up, but then she discovered Nancy Drew books. Being a flashlight-under-the-covers-nose-in-book reader throughout her childhood, she couldn’t think of anything else she’d rather do as an adult than continue to lose herself in fictional stories. Her real life marriage of 20 years to the man of her dreams is a constant reinforcement that happily-ever-afters really can happen…and that they’re worth writing about. Living in Maryland, Leslie spends her non-writing time laughing a lot with the above-mentioned romance hero and their three daughters. Though an author of more than thirty sexy, contemporary comedies, she has recently branched out to write dark romantic suspense under the pseudonym Leslie Parrish.

What a great idea. I’m slowly making the transition to e-books, since it helps with my impatience at the delay in the release of books here. It takes on average 6 months from the time a Blaze is published for it to hit the shelves here. (Although I spotted “Heating Up The Holidays” that was released last Christmas in the US, in our stores today).
I’m hampered by the fact that we still can’t get e-book readers in New Zealand so all e-books I read are stored on my PC, and sometimes I don’t want to be tied to it.

Hi Plotmonkeys & friends! I’m back from my business trip to Tampa. Great trip, pretty decent weather (considering it’s 10 degrees here and we had snow), but it’s good to be home. I missed the ‘net.
I’m still old-fashioned and haven’t gotten so much into ebooks. If I had an ereader I might be more prone, but I still love a book in my hand too much. One day I know that will have to change, but until then….

I love the prize Leslie, especially since I just got a sony e-reader for my anniversary.
But, i have a question…… I was browing fictionwise and tried to download leslie’s free blaze ( I have the paperback already) and couldn’t figure out how to download it. it kept telling me to pick a format. :*&#!:

What a great prize. A year ago I started reading e-Books, and I LOVE them. I always have several books with me at any given time, and I don’t need a book light! the concept
“do not open til Christmas” boggles my mind…..people say it and write it but I always have to shake it…and try to peak and see what it is…I hate waiting…when I was a kid I always slit open the tape…carefully unwrapped it and then rewrapped it…course…my older siblings were the ones egging me on so I would be the one to get in trouble if we got caught…never did though…lmao
